Clear Mountain Lodge’s ceremony garden offers you a serene and natural setting perfect for
exchanging those sacred “I Do’s”. With its breath-taking vistas paired with the beautiful sounds of
the harp or string quartet guiding you down the aisle we will create for you the perfect wedding
ceremony, one that you and your closest friends and family will not soon forget.
Following an intimate wedding ceremony your guests will relax with pre-dinner drinks and canapés
in the Clear Mountain lookout lounge which boasts unrivalled panoramic views of the Glasshouse
Mountains, Redcliffe Peninsular, Moreton Bay all the way around to Brisbane city.
Clear Mountain Lodge provides you with a dream location for your wedding photography. Take
advantage of the unlimited photo opportunities in and around Clear Mountain using the natural
backdrop to capture images to last a lifetime.
Guests will be escorted via a candle lit pathway through the Clear Mountain Serenity gardens into
the beautifully styled Serenity function room perfectly decorated to suit your individual personality and
style.
Choose from a carefully prepared function menu designed by our dedicated team of passionate
chefs using fresh seasonal produce grown right here on site in our Clear Mountain chef’s market
gardens.
Preparing a wedding should be a fun and exciting time, one to treasure. Clear Mountain Lodge is the
perfect Wedding venue for a multitude of reasons, we offer you everything needed to make your day
perfect all in one very unique and special location. There is no need to stress about arranging taxis
and shuttles Clear Mountain Lodge can accommodate up to 178 guests in the Lodge and offer your
guests a special reduced overnight rate to encourage everyone to stay and make the most of this
spectacular venue.

Jasmine Package

Clear Mountain Lodges Jasmine package includes;
• The exclusive use of Clear Mountain Lodge’s Ceremony Garden and Pavilion which overlook
the D’Aguilar Mountain Ranges, timber bench seating, red carpet, wedding registration table
which is perfectly clothed and skirted in white.
• One hour of pre-dinner canapés served in either the City View function space or the Serenity
Garden where your guests will relax whilst taking in the panoramic views of the Glasshouse
Mountains, Lake Samsonvale and beyond, without a doubt the best views in Brisbane.
• Following Canapés your guests will be escorted down a candle lit pathway into our Serenity
Function room which will be beautifully decorated with softly draped white organza ceiling
and back wall draping, delicate fairy lighting draped behind the bridal table, chandeliers,
round tables dressed with white table linen, candle center pieces, white or black chair seat
covers with satin or organza chair ties of your colour choice.
• Dance floor and lectern with wireless lapel microphone, in room PA System to play your

Special Notes
Your personal touches
We want your wedding day to be as perfect as it can be, if you have additional styling ideas that you
wish to be added to the Serenity room set up this can be arranged with our wedding coordinator
in advance of your special day. Prior approval may need to be granted by Clear Mountain Lodge
Management dependant on the type of additions so it is imperative that you discuss your requirements
with us during the planning stages to avoid disappointment on the day.
Exclusive use of the Lodge
We may consider the option for you to book the entire property exclusively for your very special day.
Exclusivity would involve the closure of our restaurant Mandy’s on the Mountain which is open to the
public for breakfast, lunch and dinner. To ensure exclusivity an additional fee would be charged which
our wedding co-ordinator is happy to discuss with you. A deposit to hold all accommodation rooms
and to close Mandy’s on the Mountain would be required and would be subject to availability.

Design your Bar
It would be our pleasure to provide you with a “Design
your own Bar” bar tab option. Designing your own
bar involves pre selecting from our specially designed
function beverage list. Your pre-selected beverages will
be available on the day in the Serenity function bar ready
for you and your guests to purchase throughout the

House Policies
1. For functions or events of 100 persons or more management reserves the right to employ the services of external security personnel
for the duration of the event, which will be charged as part of the event / function costs. This measure is in place to ensure the comfort,
safety and wellbeing of all guests, visitors and staff of Clear Mountain Lodge, and to ensure that the event is an enjoyable one for all
without any mishaps.
2. Alcohol must strictly be consumed in licensed areas of Clear Mountain Lodge only.
3. By law only alcohol purchased at Clear Mountain Lodge may be consumed in the licensed premise. Guests found to be consuming
alcohol in the licensed premise not purchased at Clear Mountain Lodge will have their alcohol confiscated immediately.
4. Licensed trading hours are from 10am until 12 midnight. Last drinks will be called at 11.20pm with last drinks served at 11.30pm.
Drinks will not be served nor can be purchased in the main building after 11.30pm. The Licensed premise must be clear of all guests
no later than 12 Midnight. Last drinks may be called earlier at the discretion of management.
5. Guests attending a function or event that are not residents of Clear Mountain Lodge overnight are politely asked that they vacate
Clear Mountain Lodge at the completion of the event. To avoid any disruptions to our neighbours’ Clear Mountain Lodge reception is
happy to organise taxis or transport in advance.
6. All residential accommodation rooms operate under a 24 hour liquor license; alcohol may be consumed in guest rooms 24 hours a
day. Please be aware that from 12 Midnight the only area where alcohol can be consumed is in the accommodation rooms.
7. Consumption of alcohol not purchased at Clear Mountain Lodge may only be consumed in the accommodation rooms by the
occupant and their guests. Under no circumstances may alcohol brought onto Clear Mountain Lodge property be consumed anywhere
else but the accommodation room
8. For health and Safety reasons the Swimming pool area is strictly an alcohol and glass free area.
9. No food purchased externally from Clear Mountain Lodge may be brought into nor consumed in the main building of Clear Mountain
Lodge. This includes the outdoor dining lookout area. For weddings and Functions Celebratory Cakes will be excluded however will
incur a fee for cutting and serving.
10.Clear Mountain Lodge follows a strict noise abatement policy that respects the comfort of our guests and neighbours. Please be
mindful that noise does travels down the valley to our neighbours’. It is a house policy that groups of 4 people or more are off balconies
after 11.30pm. Parties and excessive drinking in accommodation rooms is not encouraged, large amounts of alcohol brought onto the
premises into guest rooms is discouraged. Management will issue a polite warning if an unacceptable volume of noise is heard from an
accommodation room or balcony. Management also reserves the right to terminate accommodation if after being warned about noise or
disruptive behaviour the behaviour does not cease.
11.Clear Mountain Lodge requires all guests to supply a credit card as security for the accommodation room, the credit card must
belong to the person that is signed into the accommodation room. If the credit card supplied does not belong to the actual person
staying then a signed authority form must be supplied authorising for the credit card to be used along with a photocopy of the front
and back of the card as proof of authority and signature. If a credit card is not provided then full payment for the accommodation
plus a $200 Cash bond per night of occupancy must be paid on arrival. For all cash paying guests a photocopy of a driver’s license
or photo id with a current address must also be provided. The full bond will be returned on checkout if there are no damages to the
accommodation or outstanding charges.
12.All charges must be settled on departure unless prior approval has been given by management in the form of an approved credit
application or the likes.
13.Any damages incurred whilst a resident of Clear Mountain Lodge will be charged to the credit card supplied on check in. Damages
include but are not limited to an unreasonable amount of cleaning, spillages or damages to carpets, furnishings, walls, linen and fittings.
Any carpet cleaning required after any function will be charged to the credit card supplied as security.
14.Smoking policy – All of our residential accommodation rooms are strictly non-smoking. Accommodation rooms that are found by
housekeeping to have been smoked in may be charged a fee to deodorize and prepare the room for future occupancy. Depending
upon the degree of cigarette smoke, this may include an additional full nights’ accommodation on top of the cleaning fee for lost
revenue as a result of having to air out the accommodation room. Clear Mountain’s DOSA – A Designated Smoking Area is located in
the small alcove half way along the main driveway leading to reception. No food may be consumed, ordered or taken into this area.
Drinks may be consumed in this area excluding milk drink which is classed as foods. Alcohol will not be served in this area as per the
Queensland smoking laws.
Please be assured that the above policies have been implemented to ensure the comfort of both yourself and all other guests of Clear
Mountain Lodge. If there is anything at all we can do for you whilst you are our guest please do not hesitate to ask.

Terms and Conditions
To enable us to offer a high quality service and to ensure the satisfaction of the entire Hotels guests, the following terms and conditions are applicable
for your event (conference, wedding or function). Please read these terms and conditions carefully, if you have any questions please contact one of our
conference and catering staff. (the word Hotel used throughout this contract will refer to Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge, Spa and Vineyard)
1. Definitions
In these terms and conditions the following definitions apply. Event Order refers to the event order details of your event. Deposit means the amount
specified on the tentative booking letter and Banquet Event Confirmation Form. A deposit is required for both catering and accommodation bookings.
Estimated event charge means the estimate of the event charges specified in the Event Order including any accommodation bookings. Event charge
means the total of room hire, food and beverage, accommodation, surcharges payable and any other amounts payable by you for the event. Event date
means the time and date of your event specified in the Event Order.
2. Booking and Deposit
The Hotel will provide you with details of your tentative booking in writing, in order to confirm your booking: The required deposit must be paid to the Hotel
within 14 days of your booking.
Credit card details must be supplied in order to confirm the booking. The Hotel may require payment of the deposit within 48 hours if other tentative
bookings are received for the same function space. You must return the Terms and Conditions to the Hotel within 14 days of your booking. You must
return the signed Event Order a minimum of 14 days prior to your event. Please note that 30 days prior to your event date a further deposit will be required
with the total of deposits being paid equivalent to 50% of the agreed contract value of the function booking.
3. Payment
You must pay the estimated event charge in full (less the amount of any deposit already paid) at least 14 working days before the event. The differential
between the estimated event charge and the actual event charge must be settled prior to departure. Any overpayment will be refunded to you within 14
days. On conclusion of your function, any outstanding amounts will be automatically charged to the credit card on file unless prior arrangements have
been discussed. The Hotel may approve a credit arrangement for you but you should apply for such an arrangement at the time of booking. If the Hotel
accepts a credit arrangement, you will be required to provide a signed unlimited credit card authorisation or other form of security acceptable to the Hotel
to cover the full amount of the event charge. If the invoice for the event charge is not paid within 14 days of the issue of the invoice, the event charge will
be debited to the credit facility you have provided to us.
4. Charges and GST
The event charge will be based on the rates quoted in the Event Order unless you require any changes. The estimated event charge has been provided
to you as an indicative figure only. All rates are given in Australian dollars and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (Tax Act 1999). If any additional or
increased taxes or levies are introduced after the date of the Event Order, the Hotel reserves the right to require payment of the relevant additional amount.
All credit cards will incur a surcharge of 1.5% of the total amount charged for each transaction.
5. Surcharges
Additional surcharge costs may apply to your event. If applicable these will be detailed in your Event Order. Corkage: As the Hotel is a licensed venue, with
the agreement of the Catering Department certain sponsored functions may be permitted to have their beverages supplied direct from a supplier. However
a corkage fee will apply of $10.00 per person. Cash Benefits: For events where beverages are sold to guests on a cash basis, a surcharge of $5.00 per
person will apply.
6. Function Cancellation
All cancellations will only be confirmed by written correspondence. In the case of an event being cancelled the following terms are applicable: Over 90
days prior, the deposit will be refunded less an administration fee of $250.00. 60 to 89 days prior, the deposit will be held over for a future function to be
booked within a 90 day period. 30 to 59 days prior, the prepaid deposit will be forfeited. 15 to 29 days prior, the cancellation fee will be equivalent to 50%
of the agree contracted amount. Within 14 days, 100% of the agreed contracted amount will apply. Should the hotel resell the function space, the hotel
may use its discretion and charge a reduced cancellation fee.
7. Accommodation
In order to confirm your accommodation: A deposit for accommodation will be required. The deposit will be equivalent to 20% of the total estimated
accommodation room block. A deposit, equal to 20% of estimated accommodation room block must be paid to the Hotel within 14 days of your booking.
Over 90 days prior, the deposit will be refunded in full. Between 90-60 days of arrival, if more than 50% of the room block is released, the hotel reserves
the right to renegotiate your contract. Between 60-30days of arrival, if more than 20% of the room block is released, you will be required to pay 10% of
the estimated accommodation charge. At this point the hotel will also require a progress report on the current status of the group. Between 30-15 days
of arrival, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total value of the accommodation will apply along with a current room list. Within 14 days of arrival and for
non-arrival, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total value of the accommodation will apply. All of the above cancellation policies apply for all rooms
blocked. At 14 days prior to your event we require a final rooming list. At 14 days prior to your event all accommodation rooms are considered guaranteed
and any cancellations or no-shows in this period will incur a penalty of a minimum of the first night stay. Any reduction in rooms within 7 days will be
charged back to the master conference account even if rooms are to be settled by your Individuals.

Any amendments or If the number of guests who attend your function decrease by more than 20% from the agreed volume, the hotel may review
the price charged for your meals The prior approval of the Hotel is required for: Cancellations of all accommodation bookings must be done so in
writing. If you require your delegates to settle their own accounts, the required deposit will be transferred over to your conference account from your
first night stay.
8. Postponement Clause
Please note that any event needing to be postponed must be done so at least 60 days prior to avoid penalties. This event can be rebooked within
a 90 day period. The postponement of an event can only be shifted once without penalties.
9. Charges for Reduced Catering Numbers
At 60-45 days prior to the event, a reduction in numbers is permitted without penalty.
At 44-30 days prior to the event, the hotels allow a further 20% reduction in numbers without penalty.
At 29 – 15 days prior to the event, the hotel allows another 10% reduction in numbers only.
Any reduction in excess of this may be penalized.
At 14 days and under, any reduction in excess of 10% may be treated in the same manner as cancellations (clause 6) and charged accordingly
unless special arrangements have been agreed in advance.
10. Function Details
Preliminary event details (including accommodation) will be outlined in the Event Order. You need to confirm all details as soon as possible, but no
later than 14 days prior to the event. The Hotel will complete a final event program and detailed rooming list and forward it to you prior to your event.
You need to sign and return this sheet to the Hotel as final confirmation of all event details within 14 days of receipt or 14 days before your event,
whichever is the earlier.
The guaranteed number of guests attending a function is required by 10:00AM three (7) working days prior to your first event date, for catering and
billing purposes. Increases of up to 10% are acceptable after this time. Should a guaranteed number not be received, the attendance indicated
on the Banquet Event Order will be taken as final. If the number of guests who attend your function decrease by more than 20% from the agreed
volume, the hotel may review the price charged for your meals
The prior approval of the Hotel is required for:
All plans and designs for any exhibitions or displays that you propose to stage or present during your event which must be provided to the Hotel
for approval at least 10 Business Days before your event. Displays of any kind intended to be located outside the designated event room. Approval
must be given for attaching anything by nails, screws or adhesive in any way to any wall, door or other part of the Hotel. Approval must be given for
any advertising in relation to the event which includes reference to the Hotel. The use of smoke machines, special balloon effects and/or pyrotechnics due to the effect on the Hotel smoke detectors. Should the Fire Brigade respond to an alarm in the event room, which has been set off by an
unauthorized use of smoke machines, special balloon effects and/or pyrotechnics, you will be liable for any charges incurred by the Hotel. You are
responsible for costs involved in ensuring set-up and breakdown time of the event room. All deliveries to the Hotel must be advised to the Hotel
before delivery and must be delivered to the Hotel booked and marked with the name and date of the event.
11. Conduct of the Function
Unless otherwise agreed by the Hotel, your event must finish at the time specified in the Event Order. Your event must be conducted in an orderly
and lawful manner. The Hotel reserves the right to end your event if the Hotel reasonably believes that your event is not being conducted in an
orderly and lawful manner. The Hotel has no responsibility to you for any costs, damages or expenses that you may incur in relation to the Hotel’s
termination of your event. The Hotel reserves the right to employee the services of external security personnel for the duration of the event at the
discretion of management which will be on charged as part of the event costs. The Hotel may remove or deny entry to anybody being disruptive or
acting in a disorderly manner. No food or beverage of any kind, other than those provided by the Hotel will be permitted onto the Hotel’s property
without the consent of the Hotel.
The Hotel practices principles of responsible service of alcohol. Intoxicated persons will not be served alcohol and may be removed from the
premises. You are not permitted to exceed any noise levels, which, in the opinion of the Hotel, may disturb other guests of the Hotel, its neighbours
or disrupt the normal operations of the Hotel.
At your event you must ensure that you and your guests do not breach any statutes, by-laws, or regulations including the Hotel’s liquor license and
fire regulations.
12. Circumstances beyond the control of the Hotel
If the Hotel is unable to provide the facilities or any other arrangements for your event or any part of it or cannot otherwise perform the terms of the
Event Order due to circumstances beyond the Hotel’s control, the Hotel is not responsible for any costs, damages or expenses that you may suffer
or incur.
13. No Responsibility - The Hotel is not responsible for:
• The theft, damage or loss of any goods brought into the Hotel; or any introduction of food to the event and the effect of it afterwards.
• The car park is an outdoor public car park. The Hotel is not responsible for any theft, damage or loss to any goods that may occur within the car
park.

Wet weather alternative
In the Event that it rains at the time of your ceremony, you will be offered if available a conference
room as a wet weather alternative to the outdoor ceremony gardens please be aware that this may
incur an additional fee for set up and breakdown on the day.
Room Hire
Your function room is hired until 11.30pm for Dinner functions (10:30pm Sunday - Thursday) or 5.00pm
for lunch functions
Public Holidays
A Public holiday surcharge of 15% will be charged for wedding or events held on a Public holiday
