Window Upgrades
The original +17,000 square feet of single pane glass windows dated from the mid-1800’s.
The windows had poor R-factors (<1.0) and many of these were broken or missing causing
high infiltration losses. The Kalwall Translucent Daylight Building System was selected for this
site.
- More affordable than conventional glass windows
- Significant R-factor increase from 0.8 to 7.14
- No infiltration losses
- Lightweight , shatterproof, rapid installation and maintenance free
- Certifications: Factory Mutual Class 1
