THE THIRTY-THIRD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
“But before all this, they
will seize you and persecute you. They will hand
you over to synagogues
and put you in prison, and
you will be brought
before
kings
and
governors, and all on
account of my name. And
so you will bear testimony
to me. But make up your
mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. For I will give you
words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to
resist or contradict. You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers
and sisters, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to
death. Everyone will hate you because of me. But not a hair of
your head will perish. Stand firm, and you will win life.

families who have lost a loved one
during the past year. The Book of Remembrance is located

PLEASE GIVE READING GLASSES: Monica and Ed Lenci are
traveling to Cuba as part of a NYS Bar Assoc. delegation. Despite
Cuba’s universal healthcare, people there need reading glasses.
What many of us consider an inexpensive and disposable item is
something of a luxury in Cuba. Starting November 8th, there will
be receptacles near each entrance of Our Church for you to drop
off any reading glasses you’re no longer using. The plan is to give
them to the Havana office of Caritas International, a Catholic
relief group.

A Heads Up For the 2015 St. Paul

January. So, as the temperatures start to get colder and the
Christmas season is upon us please hold on to last years coat
that you may replace this season, or the one that is replaced
by your newly gifted coat and the one that your child recently
outgrew, because you can donate it to the drive that will
launch January 1st. Remember the clean gently used coat
that you donate to the drive is a new warm coat to someone in
need. More information to come as the time grows closer. As
always thank you so much for your continued generosity and
support!
