How to Apply
The Recruitment Process
Stage1: Submit your CV and covering letter to your Placement Office by the deadline set –
this date varies for each University. Please ensure that your CV clearly states your A
level results and/or UCAS points and your first year results. First year results should
be expressed numerically and be shown individually by module and as an average.
Stage 2: CVs are filtered on first year results, UCAS points, and relevant work experience.
Stage 3: If your CV is successful you will be invited for an interview. This is typically one week
after the closing date for CV submissions – check with your placement tutor. These
first interviews are about twenty to thirty minutes long and are on a one-to-one
basis. (Please note that expenses are not payable at first interview).
Stage 4: If successful at first interview you will be invited for a final interview at one of our
UK sites. The final interview is longer, more detailed, and carried out by at least two
senior managers.
Stage 5: Successful candidates will be offered a role at Lilly.
