This section introduces two of these artist-residents in every issue, to allow you a sneak peek into the lives and works of creators in Singapore. Mental health is a state of well-being, where we, as individuals, can realise our abilities, cope with stress and lead productive lives in our communities. Some common examples of mental illness include anxiety, eating disorders and postnatal depression. Social stigma and misconception have altered our understanding of mental health, often leading us to ignore the state of our own mental health. Consisting of just eight professional dancers, along with 25 semi-professional dancers in their Second Company, T.H.E has conquered major festivals in Singapore and internationally, from France to South Korea.
