33rd Sunday of Ordinary Time
Next week’s Collection for the Catholic
Campaign for Human Development
(CCHD) needs your help. CCHD was
founded to end the cycle of poverty in the
United States by funding organizations that
help people help themselves. With the tradition of improving education, housing situations, and economic development,
CCHD continues to make a positive impact
in communities nationwide. Your contribution will defend human dignity and help
those living on the margins of our society.
Please give to the CCHD Collection.
The Missouri Knights of Columbus has coordinated with the Bob Evans' restaurants in the
state, to raise money for programs supporting the developmentally disabled. It is a good way
to raise money and enjoy a nice meal.
Thank You and God Bless You for Your Support,
Rick Mueller Grand Knight, Fr. Bertens Council 1927
The Knights of Columbus invites everyone to participate in this fund raising effort- every second
Thursday of every month, all of the Bob Evans restaurants in the State of Missouri will donate
15% of your bill in support of Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and Missouri Special Olympics. At checkout just identify that you are supporting the Knights of Columbus fund raising effort. Thank you for your support and please invite your friends and neighbors.

THANK YOU so much to all those who worked
and all those who came and supported the Dartball
event. This event is benefitting the 8th grade Pro-Life
trip. A good time was had by all.
Unfortunately, we did not have the
number of teams we needed. We
only had 8 teams participating out of
a possible 16, so that means we are
short of the funds needed to insure
the students are taken care of. Adult
chaperones pay their own way.
If you would like to help us get the kids to March for
life, you may send a donation via the collection, or drop
it off at the parish office. Just mark on the envelope or
the memo line of your check PROLIFE. Thanks so
much for any donations! (Please note: Anything over
and above what we need is kept in a restricted account
and used for the following year’s 8th graders).
