1. CALL TO ORDER: Introductions by committee Chair Krystee Clark
2. PUBLIC COMMENTS: for non-agenda items
3. DISCUSS / ACTION: Motion for $200 for Verdugo Hills Cemetery Tour Costuming Cleaning costs
Glendale Community College and Sun Thrift Store generously donated costume pieces for the
Verdugo Hills Cemetery Tour. Funds requested to cover cleaning the pieces before returning them.
4. DISCUSS / ACTION: Motion to purchase coating to protect artwork on the upcoming DOT boxes at a
cost of $1,238.61 for 9 gallons to protect 12 boxes for up to 10 years. Artists will be panting 12
local grey electrical boxes as launched by the STNC Clean Up and Beautification Committee (CUB).
Permashield Premium by Monochem is a clear coating that will protect the finished artwork from Graffiti with a
10-year warranty, available in FLAT so it will not be shiny or distracting and is LEED certified and
environmentally friendly while being UV and chemical resistant to protect the artists work. Conforms to all
City Standards including LAUSD and Caltrans. ($412.87 per 3 gallons)
5. DISCUSS / ACTION: Create a brochure touting our incredible filming locations and availability.
6. DISCUSS / ACTION: ARTISYN Gallery and Café will be moving into 7214 Foothill Blvd, Tujunga.

7. DISCUSS / ACTION: Attention ARTISTS! Deadline extended to DECEMBER 31, 2014 for the
opportunity to paint one of our local grey DOT electrical boxes. Templates and info available:

8. DISCUSS / ACTION: We want to chosen for the “Great Streets” program. A committee has formed to
discuss plans and actions meeting before the LUC meetings on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month.

• Congratulations to the Highway 2 Art Show featuring over 20 of our local artists, it will be moving to
the Town’s Burr Gallery in Burbank! Viewing thru November 29th, 2014 at 3609 West Magnolia
