The Golden Sunset 4-H Beef Club has
started off the 2014-2015 4-H year with a
very good turnout of 26 members including
many new young members.
We have had our annual organizational
meeting and also our club weigh-in. At our
weigh-in everything went very smoothly,
we have a wide variety of projects this
year including market steer, carcass steer,
breeding heifer, novice calf and also both
two and three year old cow calf pairs.
Many of our members are going to be busy
this year with having more than one project.
We have also already collected tires as
one of our club fundraisers. We are looking
forward to this year with having a new executive. Our president is Ryley Patriquin,
vice-president is Tonie Zutz-Parrent, treasurer is Kaylee Huppertz, and secretary
is Rebecca Zutz-Parrent. We have many
other positions and committees that have
been filled. This should be a fun and exciting year and I am looking forward to it.
