SALESPERSON
Boyle Co-op Ltd invites applications for the position of
Bulk Fuel Driver Salesperson. This position is responsible
for promoting the sales and deliveries of Co-op bulk fuels.
Carrying out deliveries in an efficient manner. The successful
applicants would also be responsible for adhering to all
company procedures and policies. Ensuring all preventative
maintenance procedures are carried out on the delivery
unit, and all tools and equipment are maintained in a safe
working order. The successful applicant is also expected
to become familiar with the computerized DMS, Hydra

maintenance records, and follow other duties assigned. Attain

Athabasca County is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Infrastructure
Services. In accordance with Athabasca County’s succession plan, it is anticipated that the
Assistant Director will transition into the role of the Director by the year 2017.
Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure Services, the Assistant Director will be responsible
for assisting in the management and administration of the Infrastructure Services Department
which includes strategic planning and the administration of all capital projects and operations
approved by Council. These include roadway maintenance and construction operations,
shop and equipment services and utilities.
The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering Technology Diploma from a recognized
institute and eligibility for CET designation, and/or a minimum of ten years of experience
in road construction and maintenance in a municipal setting, ideally in a rural setting.
Excellent organization and time management skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as
knowledge of Worktech asset management program would be an asset. Must hold a valid
Class 5 driver’s license.

be in a bit of a holding pattern, with no
new trade to report
as of last Tuesday,
Dec. 16.
Regardless, the
past few months
has been good to
those with cattle to
sell, and perhaps
will lead to a much
more Merry Christmas than might
have been hoped for
earlier in the year.
Meanwhile, there
were no prices given
for market weight
steers or heifers,
either live or rail
grade.
Upper weight
feeder steers and
heifers also showed
a drop in prices,
along with somewhat lower cull
cattle prices.

of a drop on some
weights, yet others were slightly
higher; a somewhat
mixed bag. It was
