CORNELL, Loren George
Mr. Loren Cornell formerly of Kinuso,
AB and Fawcett, AB passed away
and went to be with his Lord on
Saturday, January 31st, 2015 in
Nanaimo, B.C. at the age of 91 years.
Loren is survived by one sister, Ruth;
one brother, Douglas; eight nieces
and nephews: Karl, Laura, Marilyn,
Terry, Dennis, Eldeen, Jamie and
Kathy, as well as other relatives and
many friends throughout Alberta and
B.C. He was predeceased by his
wife, Mavis in 1997. On Saturday,
February, 7, 2015 a Graveside
Service was held at the Swan Valley Cemetery, Kinuso, AB at 1:30 P.M.
followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 p.m. in the Kinuso Senior
Citizen’s Complex, Kinuso, AB. with Pastor Ken Stange officiating. Anyone
who so wishes may make a memorial donation directly to The Good
Samaritan Society, Wexford Creek, 80 Tenth St., Nanaimo, B.C. V9R 0A8

POLLARD, Mary Alberta
On February 4th, 2015 Mary Pollard
of Westlock, AB passed away at the
age of 85 years. Mary was the sixth
child born to Willis and Pearl Mannen,
December 1st, 1929. She is survived
by her 2 sons, Doug (Lynn), Wayne
(Susan); 4 daughters, Judy Pollard,
Carla (Lawrence) Dubois, Madeline
(Jack) Hewitt and Eva (Danny)
Boychuk; 23 grandchildren, 44 great
grandchildren; her brother Wesley
(Doris) Mannen; her sister Eva (Stan)
Fox; 3 sisters-in-law and 4 brothersin-law. She was predeceased by
her husband Richard, daughter Ethel, grandson James and her great
granddaughter Kierra; one sister, 4 brothers, her parents and 5 brothers-inlaw. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, February 7th, 2015 at 2:00
p.m. at the Westlock Funeral Chapel with Pastor Marjorie Steele officiating
with inurnment in Hazel Bluff Cemetery. Donations gratefully accepted to
Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta, Westlock Continuing Care Centre or Charity
