The Pigs Tale is a purpose built restaurant that opened in 2011. The whole concept and idea behind it is
being the best we can be and bringing you the customer the best service and food quality by means of
sourcing it, farming it and even hunting it ourselves. We are very proud of what we do and have spent
years learning and developing our skills and food knowledge. We strive to bring fresh idea’s to the
Menu weekly and hope you get as excited about coming as we do about serving you each time you

Blackstairs - Ruby IPA (500ml 5%vol Co Wexford)
Full of freshness with plenty of malty depth, this is the first beer from Wexford based Blackstairs Brewing
Company. A ‘Red IPA’ it is the first of its kind by an Irish brewery. It successfully combines tastes you would
find in a Irish Red Ale and an Indian Pale Ale (IPA).
Blackstairs - Dark Fiery Porter (500ml 5%vol Co Wexford)
Our dark Fiery Porter will warm heart and soul even on the coldest of nights. Putting a twist on tradition, it
makes for smooth drinkability with Ginger and Jalapeño Chillies for a distinctive tangy flavour.
Highbank - Medieval Cider (500ml 6% Co Kilkenny)
Highbank, the Irish Organic Cider Growers have blended their Organic cider with Organic Honey to produce a
sensational drink with subtle honey overtones and a long tannic finish. They have called this “Highbank
Medieval Cider” in honour of their medieval home towns of Callan and Kilkenny
