Undergraduate Students
Meet new Friends on Friday with Dinner &
Christian Fellowship
If you’re an international undergraduate looking
to meet new friends, join us at the Rita House on
a Friday night, 7:00pm for a meal, fellowship and
various discussion sessions. Transportation provided
from the ASU Bookstore at 6:45pm most every Friday
Night. Join our Facebook page at “ISC Undergraduates” for more specific information.
Three groups
in one Club
To help more students on the campus of ASU, the
International Students Club (ISC) is divided into three
specific groups. Nancy Peterson with staff Kelly Quek
oversees the group that focuses on graduate students
and visiting scholars. They meet for a Friday Night
Bible Study each week at her home. Emmanuel and
Mabel Chijindu will continue to provide direction
to the African Students Forum (ASF). meeting the
first Saturday of every month in the C3 Building near
campus. Charles and Tracey Boyle oversees the group
for undergraduate students, meeting on Friday nights
at their home. Details on all three groups and their
meetings are included in this newsletter.

All undergraduate international students are invited
to join us on the Fourth Friday in November as we
enjoy no school (Thanksgiving Break) and an adventurous excursion into the Superstition Mountains.
After the hike we will enjoy a terrific home-cooked
meal. Located on the base of the Superstition Mountains, it has scenic view of the city lights, and our
time will also include a bonfire and games. Go to the

English Conversation Classes
Thursdays, 7:30pm • Memorial Union
It’s a free program where students (and spouses)
can come to practice English, with native speakers
in the ASU Memorial Union (ask at the Info Desk
to see where the class is held that day). Helpful,
friendly people are there each week to help you
learn through interactive lessons. Fun activities are
also planned througout the year. No reservations
needed. Contact Joan at [email protected] if you
have any questions.

Free class (like the one mentioned above) meets
on Tuesdays afternoons across the street from the
Gammage Auditorium in C-3 Building, address:

Students Club...
(ISC) is a friendship club at ASU for
all international students. Visit
the ISC table (located west of the
Memorial Union) from 9:30am to
12:30pm Monday-Thursday to get
information, practice speaking
English, meet others and/or sign
up for ISC activities.
Sponsored by a national Christian
organization (ISI), our goal is to
help all international students
during their time here in the USA
through practical help social and
recreational activities, trips, English
conversational classes and Bible
studies.

us as we meet on the second Saturday,
November 8 at 4:00pm for a friendly
meeting point and environment for

about Biblical Christianity. There will
be a group for those simply curious
about Biblical Christianity and another
for Christian internationals. For more
