Volunteer Hours Tracking

Most of the time, you will be signing up for specific events like chaperoning a field trip, manning booths at the Fall
Festival, or volunteering for stations at Literacy Night, etc. In some cases, you will need to track hours that aren’t
associated with a specific event. For example, reading in the classroom, assisting with preparation for a class activity
(preparing and cutting materials).

Please use this link to sign up as the Box Top Volunteer and/or if you are a Site Council or PTA board member, Room
Parent, Email Parent and/or Volunteer Spot Parent.

 Click any of the links to
volunteer.
 After clicking on one of the links
on this page volunteer, the
Volunteer Spot web site will
appear. Enter your email
address and click on Submit.
* If you do not have an email address, you
can create a free one for yourself at
gmail.com, yahoo.com and/or hotmail.com
 Once you have entered your
email address, you will see the
event you would like to sign up
for. Click on one or more (as
many as you like!)
* Please see the special instructions at
the bottom if you are signing in for
Volunteer Hours Tracking
 Your family’s volunteer efforts
are tracked by the name of your
oldest child attending Faith
North. Please enter your
oldest child’s last name and
first name that attends Faith
North and a phone number and
click on the OK button.
 Click on the Save button when
done.
 Click on the Continue button.
 All done! You will see the final
confirmation page and also
receive a confirmation email.
Volunteer Hours Tracking
Most of the time, you will be signing up for specific events like chaperoning a field trip, manning booths at the
Fall Festival, or volunteering for stations at Literacy Night, etc. In some cases, you will need to track hours that
aren’t associated with a specific event. For example, reading in the classroom, assisting with preparation for a
class activity (preparing and cutting materials). In those cases, you would use the Volunteer Hours Tracking link.
 Please note that Volunteer
Hours are tracked in increments
of a half hour.
 If you volunteered for 1 hour,
sign up for 2 spots, using the +
sign on the top right. In this
example, 2.5 hours of volunteer
time were entered.
