Congratulations to the FFA computer team for their 3rd place finish last night at
the District 5 Computer contest hosted by Rend Lake College.
The Jr./Sr. High Book Fair is here. During this time, the library will be closed to
study hall students. Those individuals will need to report to their assigned study halls.
Thank you and we'll see you at the book fair!
Asset Scores are available from Mrs. Lueke. Please see her during your study hall.
Reminder to all Jrs. and Srs. If you have taken and passed the Asset Test and are in
good academic standing you are eligible to take dual enrollment classes at Rend Lake
College. They classes are free of charge as long as you are in high school. Registration
for Spring classes is going on now. See Mrs. Lueke if you are interested.
The following scholarships are now being accepted in the Guidance Office: Due
December 2, Eagles, Elks National, FCA and Matt Lueke Memorial. Due December 9,
Beta Sigma Phi, Burke Memorial, and National Wild Turkey.
Health Occupations club members are reminded that their Little Caesar’s Pizza
Fundraiser orders must be submitted by tomorrow to Ms. Waier or Ms. Hodge. Club
members must sell a minimum of 5 separate orders.
Health Occupations club members are needed to assist with the Heritage Woods
Thanksgiving Dinner this Saturday from 10:30 – 2:30. See Ms. Waier to sign up.
Attention students: You can earn paw prints for working the concession stand at the
Lady Foxes basketball tourney. See Mr. Winemiller for more details.
Please stand and recite the Pledge of Allegiance then remain standing for
a moment of silence.
Reminder to Seniors, if you have 3 or more unexcused absences in any class hour you
will not be eligible to attend your senior trip.
Rend Lake College is looking for seniors interested in an Art Tuition Waiver. Art
Portfolios are required and will be reviewed the week of December 1-5. If you are
interested and would like more details see Mrs. Lueke.

Each time yearbook misses a deadline it costs us $450. This causes the yearbook price
to increase. Please turn in your pictures or email them to Mrs. Auten at
[email protected]. We do not need printed pictures we can get them from any digital
file. Photographers may email Mrs. Auten directly.
