Jose Luis Macia revOR PIHER Potentiometers 6mm family / Detents 6mm Potentiometers family Through hole / SMD In addition to the existing 10mm and 15mm family potentiometers with detents, PIHER just introduced in 2014 the detents option in the miniature 6mm family. Potentiometers with detents family have been specially developed to allow the integration of otherwise large and expensive external mechanism into the body of standard potentiometer. Thus this enlarge the possible optional configuration that can be selected on the current potentiometers such as special tapers, tolerances, linearity, cut tracks etc. This detents design not only adds a “click” sensation of position, but also offers enormous savings in both cost and space for any given application. 2014 | © Piher Sensors & Controls. PIHER Potentiometers 15mm – 360º Mechanical rotation PIHER’s new recently launched PT15- 360º offers engineers an endless rotation version of the popular PT15 rotary control potentiometer. This new 360º version adds endless clockwise (CW or CCW) rotation as a part of the current features of the PT15s already highly configurable mechanical and electrical specifications. Engineers can now design product command features over a 340º range (active electrical travel) with a controlled linearity output and an enhance mechanical life time up to 200K cycles on top of the existing options available on the current PT15 standard product. 2014 | © Piher Sensors & Controls.
