Two secured victories in each of the Muharraq and Southern governorates, while one candidate each went through in the Capital and Northern governorates. According to election regulations, a run-off between the top two contestants will decide the winner if no candidate secures more than 50 per cent of the total valid votes polled. The winners are: Muharraq Governorate Constituency four: Isa Al Kooheji (3,022 votes). Constituency eight: Abdulrahman Buali (4,197 votes). Capital Governorate Constituency eight: Dr Shaikh Abdulmajeed Al Asfoor (won unopposed). Northern Governorate Constituency 11: Jamal Dawood Salman Ahmed (3,037 votes). Southern Governorate Constituency three: Abdulhaleem Murad (3,716 votes). Constituency 10: Ahmed Al Mulla (834 votes). Thirty-four parliamentary seats are still up for grabs in this Saturday’s second round of elections. Muharraq Governorate Constituency one: Ali Isa Bu Farsan (1,569 votes) and Dr Saadi Ali (1,986 votes). Constituency two: Abdulmonim Al Eid (1,550 votes) and Ibrahim Al Hammadi (1,761 votes). Constituency three: Jamal Buhassan (1,219 votes) and Ahmed Sanad Al Binali (1,061 votes). Constituency five: Mohammed Al Jowder (1,252 votes) and Khalid Buonk (1,245 votes). Constituency six: Nabeel Al Asheeri (270 votes) and Abbas Al Madi (273 votes). Constituency seven: Nasser Al Fadhala (1,525 votes) and Ali Al Muqla (1,599 votes). Capital Governorate Constituency one: Adel Al Asoomi (2,068 votes) and Khalid Sulaibeekh (1,491 votes). Constituency two: Sayed Hashim Al Alawi (622 votes) and Ahmed Qarrata (946 votes).
