Due to harsh weather conditions last week, Norway rescheduled their
Veterans Day Program to Tuesday November 18th.
It was a beautiful program and all who participated in it did a wonderful
job.

FUMEE PHOTO/ESSAY
CONTEST WINNERS
The September 2014 Fumee Lake Photo/Essay winners have been
announced. The winning photograph of the Fumee Lake Natural Area’s
east gate was taken by Gail Stanek of Norway, MI. The winning essay is
by Stephanie Brule of Iron Mountain, MI. Each winner received a heavy
blend, full-zip hoodie, courtesy of the contest sponsor, Northern Michigan
Bank & Trust.
The competition is open to everyone. Details and contest rules can be
found at fumeelakes.org and on the Fumee Facebook page, where the
winning entries are also posted.
