Trends Group in their annual Retail TRAK Sales Report for snow sports

•Equipment Sales: $782M, up 3 percent in dollars sold and up 2 percent in units sold
• Apparel Sales: $1.3B, up 4 percent in dollars sold and down 1 percent in units sold
• Accessories Sales: $1.15B, up 14 percent in dollars sold and up 8 percent in units sold

TERMS & CONDITIONS
• Prepayment is required of first-time advertisers to establish credit. Terms to estab-
lished advertisers are net 30 days from invoice date. No cash discount. 15% to recog-
nized agencies (that supply digital files) when paid within 30 days. Any past due
invoice will be subject to a 1.5% per month finance charge on the balance due.
CONTRACT AND COPY REGULATIONS
• Tear sheets will be furnished with billing as proof of publication.
• Artwork supplied by publisher will be billed to advertiser. Any mechanical work will be billed at cost. (Terms net.)
• Publisher reserves the right to reject any advertisement. The advertiser assumes all liability for any claims and/or expenses resulting from the unauthorized or improper use of any names, photographs, maps, illustrations or other contents used or stat-
ments made in connection with this advertising.
• Ads set to simulate editorial must be labeled “Advertisement.”
• Short Rates and Rebates: Advertisers will be short-rated if from the date of the first
insertion they do not use the amount of space upon which their billings have been based. Advertisers will be rebated if within a 6 mo. period from the date of first inser-
tion they have used sufficient additional space to warrant a lower rate than that at which they have been billed.
• Rate earned is determined by the number of insertions placed in any one or more issues within the contract period.
• Publisher will not be bound by any conditions appearing on contracts, orders, or copy instructions that conflict with rate-card provisions or with Publisher’s policies.
• All restrictions on placement or other stipulations are the sole discretion of Publisher.
• All advertising orders accepted are subject to the rates and terms of the current
ratecard. Any order submitted with incorrect terms or rates will be inserted at current rates and terms.
• Rates are subject to change upon notice from the publisher.
• Advertisers and their agencies are jointly and severally liable for payment of adver-
tising space ordered and published, production charges, and any collection or legal costs incurred.
