Becoming and Making Disciples
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given
to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I
have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
[ Matthew 28:18-20 ]
Announcements
Church
:
1.
In order to reach out to non-Christians around us, we would like to
invite brothers and sisters to join in a "Take 5 Challenge". A
special pledge form is available for those who would like to make
a commitment to pray for 5 non-believers, five minutes a day, five
days a week, for the blessings and salvation of Jesus Christ in their
lives. We will collect the form today together with the faith pledge
for the Great Commission Fund.
2.
The 39th Baptism Ceremony will be held at Wattle Park Chapel,
234 Elgar Road, Box Hill South on 29 Nov Saturday at 10am.
Please reserve your time to celebrate and rejoice with the baptismal
candidates. The baptism candidates are Mrs Winnie Chao and Mr
Chi Ming So.
3.
The Children Sunday School will require additional teachers,
helpers and worship leaders in 2015. Please contact Teresa Lam for
more information.
4.
Brothers and sisters can now sign up at the front desk for next
year’s flower offering. Please place your offering of $35.00 per
occasion in the offering envelope.
5.
"Carols by Candlelight 2014" is scheduled on 13 December (Sat),
music support will be provided to any singing performance. If you
are interested to engage in this ministry in any role, please contact
Alison Au, Chris Au or Jessie Siu. If brothers and sisters still have
the LED candles from the last Carols by Candlelight, please feel
free to bring them back before 7 Dec 2014 for recycling.
6.
CACV’s 2015 Church calendars are now available for collection
at the foyer. As there are a limited number of copies, please just
take one copy per family.
