En elev kan gis autorisasjon for soloflyging før full eksamen i teori til
PPL(A) er avlagt og bestått for Luftfartstilsynet. Refererer også til
kapitel A.8.b1, A.8.d og A.8.e i LAPL kapittelet.
A.8.b1
Emergency procedures, in accordance with the POH/AFM, are to be taught
progressively throughout the course, and the student is to be competent at
executing the drills as follows:
Before First Solo
Every 28 days following First Solo
Engine Fire on the Ground
Stalling & Spin Avoidance
Engine Fire in the Air
Engine Failure after Take-off
Cabin and/or Electrical Fire
Engine Failure Downwind
Escape Drills/Location & use of Emergency Equipment

A.8.d og e
Before being permitted to fly solo for the first time, a student must:
•Be at least 16 years of age
•Hold a valid medical certificate issued in accordance with Part-MED
•Have completed at least 10 hours of dual flight training
•Have completed the emergency drill training detailed at paragraph b over
•Demonstrate evidence of English or Norwegian language proficiency equivalent to at least ICAO Level 4
a.Before being permitted to undertake a first solo cross country, the student must:
•Fulfil the requirements for first solo in paragraph d over
•Have satisfactorily completed Exercises 1-18A of the LAPL(A) syllabus as appropriate. See Form LAPL-006
