CIDCO demolishes illegal construction
at Adai village
Belapur: The demolition squad of
the City and Industrial
Development Corporation
(CIDCO) razed down three illegal
structures at Adai village in the
Naina area.
Speaking about the drive an
official from CIDCO said, “We
had issued notice to Mangesh
Shelke, land owner and Avinash
Builders and Developers against
the illegal construction. The
notice was issued when their first
building's plinth was in progress.
However, without complying any
statutory permissions, the builders
continued with their work and
reached upto G+4 structure,
having four wings and second
buildings upto 2nd floor and third
building above plinth level. As
they have not even submitted any
application for the development
permission to CIDCO. CIDCO
had to demolish these three
buildings.”

by CIDCO or the authenticity of
such buildings from CIDCO
before entering into any
transaction of purchase of built up
premises in any of the buildings
within the NAINA area,” he
added.
Drive against errant auto
drivers in Panvel
Panvel: The Panvel RTO in its
eight days 'Zero tolerance' drive
against errant auto drivers outside
Panvel railway station last week
booked 51 auto drivers and
detained 20. Around 1797 autos
were checked and a fine of around
Rs 1 lakh was collected from the
errant drivers.
“Those who have been
detained have been asked to pay
the fine within a stipulated time
and follow the rules or else we will
have to cancel their permit
license,” said Arun Yeola, RTO at
