…but as information resources are changing, the role is becoming less defined and is more diverse,
depending on the type of organization the librarian is in. So while the librarian’s primary role will
continue to revolve around finding specific information for their patrons, that role may take less time
with increasingly faster e-resources. The law librarians of the future will need to take on other
tasks; for example, maybe writing briefs or doing paralegal work to increase their value to the
organizations that employ them.
