Call for papers
The Nordic Logistics Research Network
(NOFOMA) is a network of Nordic
researchers within the field of Logistics
and Supply Chain Management. The
NOFOMA conference is a meeting place
for logistics researchers from all over the
world. NORLOG is the doctoral workshop
preceding the conference.
In line with previous NOFOMA conferences,
we welcome papers on all aspects of logistics
and supply chain management.
This is the call for papers for the
NOFOMA conference
Venue
The 27th NOFOMA Conference (June 4-5)
and NORLOG Doctoral Day (June 3) is
organized by Molde University College,
Specialized University of Logistics, and
NTNU, Department of Production and
Quality. The conference will take place at
the campus of Molde University College
(MUC).
MUC is a leading institution in
Scandinavia in the field of logistics.
MUC offers undergraduate and
postgraduate programs in Economics and
Business Administration, Management,
Sport and Event Management, Social
Sciences and Health Care, and PhD
programs logistics and Health Care. More
than 2500 students and around 200
employees.
Molde situated at the North West coast of
Norway, and is renowned for the annual
jazz festival, top league football and roses.
Molde can offer a fantastic mountain
panorama view and great surroundings for
hiking.
The conference theme is ‘Towards
Sustainable Logistics and Supply Chain
Management’. Papers are invited dealing with,

Getting to and from Molde
Molde airport Årø is situated only 6.5 kilometers
from the city center and 9.5 kilometers from the
Campus.
There are seven daily flights from Oslo
(Gardermoen), and the flight time is about 55
minutes.
