INSTRUCTION MANUAL
VARMEFOLIE
NO: MONTERING AV VARMEFOLIE LAGT SOM COMFORTGULV
1. Eksisterende gulv må være avrettet og rent for smuss og ujevnheter.
2. Linoleum eller PVC-belegg kan bli liggende, man må da legge byggplast over.
3. På alle underlag som kan avgi gasser (som f.eks. vannfast spon) skal det legges byggplast over. NB! Viktig å sjekke!
4. Ujevnheter kan skape knirk mellom folie og Reflektorplate. Det er viktig å bruke dobbeltsidig tape i mellom
5. Ved installasjon på betong som ikke har fuktsperre, må denne dekkes med byggplast (20 cm overlapp i skjøter) som isolasjon (0,2mm, 200my). Denne plasten tapes og
kommer i tillegg til plasten over varmefolien. Namron tar ikke ansvar for den underliggende betongkonstruksjonen. (Viser for øvrig til parkettleverandørenes leggeanvisninger/
krav vedrørende restfuktighet).
6. Trykkfast isolasjon som 3mm eller 6mm Reflektor-plater legges jevnt over hele gulvet. Det anbefales 6mm da dette gir en bedre isolasjon og man får bedre plass til ledningsføringer og klemmer. Brukes 3mm må det gjøres plass til klemmer i undergulvet. Platene festes til hverandre med dobbeltsidig tape. Skumisolasjon må ikke brukes.
(Viser for øvrig til parkettleverandørenes krav til underlagmatter som vil være det avgjørende for hva som brukes.)
7. Når det skal legges varmefolie på lydisolerte plater som f.eks. type Silencio, må det legges 3mm Reflektor-plater først, før det legges varmefolie.
8. På den siden man har tilkoblingene av varmefolien anbefales at Reflektor-platene legges i en avstand til vegg på ca 2 cm. Denne kanalen brukes til kabelføring. Det anbefales
å legge dobbeltsidig tape i bunn av kanalen som holder ledningene på plass.
9. Varmefolien legges, med overlapp av stiftesonene. Anbefales min 1 cm og maks 5 cm mellom strømbanene. Dette for å minimere kalde soner.
10. Varmefolien skal tapes til underlaget med dobbeltsidig tape eller annen varmebestandig tape. Legg tapen på tvers av rettingen som folien skal ligge, ca. 1,5 til 2m mellom
hver stripe, og ikke nærmere en 40cm fra vegg der tilkoblingen er og 20 cm i motsatt ende. Dette for å unngå forskyvning av varmefolien.
11. Fest dobbeltisolert ledning RKK på klemmene (legges dobbelt i siste klemme for å få god nok pressing), og klem deretter klemmene fast på varmefolien med godkjent tang.
Sett VM vulktape over og under klemmene, husk og endeisolere strømbanen med vulktape i motsatt ende av tilkoblings klemmene
12. Maksbegrensningsføler til termostaten legges mellom folien, ikke nærmere en 2 cm fra strømbanen/varmefeltet og litt ut i gulvet. Evt. kan føleren legges foran folien.
Maksbegrenseren stilles inn på maks 27C°
13. Byggeplast 0,2mm (200my) legges over varmefolien og tilkoblingsklemmene. Når det ligger fuktsperre under Reflektorplatene, legges byggplast over hele gulvet, men ikke
2 - 3cm fra veggen.
14. Dekk så gulvet med trykkfordelende parkett, laminat, heltregulv, eller lignende.
Heltregulv: Skrues med 40 cm / 60 cm mellomrom. (Ikke i varmefeltet eller strømbanen)
15. Ved linoleum / PVC som toppskikt, så må man legge et lag med ikke isolerende materiale over plasten. Eks. sponplater, finerplater, laminat, osv. Minimum 5mm tykkelse.
Vi anbefaler fra 5mm til 30mm
16. Varmefolie er godkjent som en installasjon klasse 2 når monteringsanvisning er fulgt. Dermed bortfaller kravet om jordet nett. Det skal benyttes termostat med gulvføler,
gjerne en kombinasjonstermostat, hvor gulvføler stilles inn etter parkett/laminatleverandørs beskrivelse.

1. Skal installeres av autorisert el-installatør.

EN: INSTALLATION OF HEATING FOIL LAID AS A COMFORT FLOOR
1. The existing floor must be levelled and clean of dirt and unevenness.
2. An linoleum or PVC coating does not have to be removed, but must be covered with building plastic.
3. Cover all surfaces that can release gases (e.g. waterproof chipboard) with building plastic. NB! Important things to check!
4. Unevenness can give rise to creaking between the foil and Reflectorplates. It is important to use double-sided tape in between
5. When installing on cement that does not have a damp course, this must be covered with building plastic (a 20 cm overlap at joints) as insulation (0.2 mm, 200 μ) . This
plastic should be taped and should, in addition to the plastic cover the heating foil. Namron does not take responsibility for the underlying cement construction.
(Otherwise refers to the parquet supplier’s installation instructions/requirements regarding residual moisture).
6. Compression-proof insulation in the form of 3 mm or 6 mm Reflector plates are laid evenly across the entire floor. 6 mm is recommended as this provides better insulation
and there is more room for wiring and terminals. If 3 mm is used, room must be made for terminals in the sub-floor. The plates are attached to each other with double sided
tape. Foam insulation must not be used. (Otherwise refers to the parquet supplier’s requirements for underlay mats which will ultimately decide what will be used.)
7. When heating foil is be laid on sound-absorbing plates, e.g. Silencio-type plates, 3 mm Reflector plates must be laid before heating foil is laid.
8. We recommend that on the side where the heating foil is connected, the Reflector plates are placed at a distance of approximately 2 cm to the wall. This channel will be used
for wiring. We recommend placing double-sided tape in the bottom of the channel as this will ensure that the cables remain in place.
9. Place the heating foil with overlapping stapling zones. We recommend a minimum of 1 cm and a maximum of 5 cm between the current circuits. This is to minimise cold
zones.
10. The heating foil must be taped to the surface using double-sided tape respectively or other type of heat-resistant tape. Place the tape crosswise to the direction of the
foil, approx. 1.5 to 2 metres between each strip, and no closer than 40 cm from the wall where the connection is and 20 cm at the opposite end. This is to avoid displacing the
heating foil.
11. Attach a double-insulated RKK cable to the terminals (apply twice on the last terminal to obtain an adequate pressing), and then clamp the terminals onto the heating foil
using approved pliers. Place Vinyl Mastic tape over and under the terminals. Remember to isolate the current circuits on the heating foil you don’t connect with power cables.
12. Place a Max Limit Sensor between the foil no closer than 2 cm from the current circuit/heat field and a bit out into the floor. If possible, the sensor may be placed in front of
the foil. Set the maximum limit thermostat to max. 27C°
13. Lay 0.2 mm (200 μ) building plastic over the heating foil and the connection terminals. When a moisture barrier has been placed under the Reflector plates, lay building
plastic over the entire floor, but not 2 - 3 cm from the wall.
14. Then cover the floor with pressure-distributing parquet, laminate, solid wood flooring or similar.
Solid wood flooring: Screw down so that they are 40 cm/60 cm apart. (Not in heating field or current circuit)
15. If the top layer is linoleum/PVC, place a layer of non-insulating material over the plastic. For example, chipboard, laminate etc. No less than 5 mm thick. We recommend
from 5 mm to 30 mm.
16. Heating foil is approved as a class 2 installation when fitting instructions are followed. Thus any requirement for an earthed network is eliminated. Thermostats with floor
sensors should be used, preferably a combination thermostat, where the floor sensor is set according to the description provided by the supplier of the parquet/laminate.
AN APPROVED RCCB MUST ALWAYS BE INSTALLED.
