Pinckney was arrested by the Kurnool police at Gurgaon, and lodged in the Central Prison at Kadapa, located near the country’s Indian capital of New Delhi in the state of Haryana. In India, there is no cost to join, or money paid for recruiting. Amway India’s products are substantially manufactured in India and are all subject to an industry-leading return policy. In its statement to the media, Amway noted the recent police actions are clearly inconsistent with the stated policy agenda of the newly-elected government of India to promote foreign direct investment in India.
