Du har publicerat en annons gällande en forskarutbildningsplats på SLU:s hemsida.
Att anta en forskarstudent är en process med flera steg, och det är viktigt att du tidigt skaffar dig
information om processen för att allt ska gå så snabbt och smidigt som möjligt. På den här hemsidan

I korta drag består processen av följande steg:
• Institutionen gör urval och bestämmer vem/vilka sökande de vill gå vidare med.
• Toppkandidatens/toppkandidaternas ansökningshandlingar skickas med brev till SUS
för bedömning av grundläggande behörighet samt behörighet i Engelska B/6. SUS gör
även en bedömning av äktheten hos bifogade dokument.
• SUS skickar tillbaka ansökningshandlingarna, tillsammans med bedömningen av
behörighet och äkthet, till kontaktpersonen vid institutionen.
• Intervjuer genomförs.
• Institutionen skickar en rekommendation om antagning till fakulteten. Inför
antagning ska en preliminär individuell studieplan skrivas. En mall för detta hämtas i

• Fakulteten fattar beslut om antagning.
• Institutionen skickar ett förslag om anställning till personalavdelningen (om
forskarstudenten ska anställas)

Important information - admission of doctoral student
You have published an advertisement regarding an open position for doctoral education at the SLU
homepage.
Admission of a doctoral student is a process with several steps, and it is important for you to gather
information about this to enable the process to run as smoothly as possible. At this webpage you will

The process contains the following steps: The department makes the selection and decides which
applicant/applicants they would like to continue with. The application of the top candidate, or top
candidates, is sent to SUS by ordinary mail. SUS will evaluate the eligibility as well as English B/6
language skills, and also evaluate the authenticity of the documents. When the evaluation is finished,
SUS sends the application documents, together with an evaluation, to the contact person at the
department. Interviews are performed. The department sends a recommendation of admission to
the faculty. Before the applicant can be admitted to doctoral education, a preliminary individual
study plan shall be created. A template for this can be downloaded from the ISP-portal: :

department sends a suggestion of employment to the Division for Human Resources (if the doctoral
student should be employed by SLU).
