FLIGHTS OF FANCY! This week is going to be a breath of
fresh air with an investigation of how things move through air.
The sky will be the limit as we investigate how things fly. Birds,
insects and even kites will make this camp a real flight of fancy!
6
7-8 year olds:
ME IN MOTION Need to burn some energy? Can’t sit still?
Then “Me in Motion Camp” is for you! Each day will be a celebration of the many ways in which we move and play. Learn
new sports, play silly games, dance, tumble, and hike—all this
and more will keep you in motion this week while we learn just
how much our amazing bodies can do! Wear your sneakers and
come ready to have some fun outside!
MEDIEVAL GAMES- The challenge is on for the kipps and
the spoils as you display your prowess during this week of medieval tournaments! Learn about medieval fitness through an
exploration of jousting and acts of strength and courage as we
crusade through the Middle Ages.
9-12 year olds:
SURVIVOR-Think you have what it takes to conquer the
wild? Outwit, Outlast, Outplay and become the ultimate camp
survivor. Throughout the week we’ll learn how to identify edible plants, make a fire, build a shelter and purify water. We’ll
also engage in many traditional camp activities such as archery,
orienteering, knot tying, etc. In this action packed week you
and your tribe will be challenged in sports, group competitions,
and individual competitions. We will strengthen your camper’s
teamwork skills, along with physical and mental skills, positive
thinking, endurance, problem solving and sportsmanship. At
the end of the week campers, will have the tools and knowledge to conquer the wilderness on their own.
