Children will have the opportunity to explore their creative, artistic, and athletic sides while making new friends, having lots of fun, laughter, and smiles. The children will get to make crafts, act out skits, and play cooperative games. SPORTS camp with KEVIN BROWNE. Cost: $65 per day (pizza lunch included) For: grades 1-8 Maximum: 20 children Location: Gymnasium This is an opportunity for kids to enjoy a day of activities, cooperative games, and sports in a fun environment. Children attending SPORTS camp will participate in a wide variety of activities in the gym including ball hockey, basketball, indoor soccer, and European handball. DRAMA camp with NILU PHILIPS (Aftercare teacher) Cost: $65 per day (pizza lunch included) For: grades 1-8 Maximum: 20 children Location: Drama studio Friday’s camp: ‘Ahoy there, Matey!’ It’s time to leave your land legs behind and get on board with your captain to enjoy a swashbuckling adventure! Sea creatures, wild-eyed pirates, magic and excitement await in many a form. Story-time, followed by various games, art, craft and activities should keep you aboard this storm tossed carrier. Anchors aweigh at 9am – 2pm on the 2nd Friday of November in the Drama Room. Come on now lads and lasses, do I hear an “aye”? Monday’s camp: Get inspired! Come set words to actions and vice versa! Let your imagination soar! Join in rollicking games and fun, art, and craft. Along with stories and folk tales from around the world! There will be a variety of action poems to read AND to write! All you need is your imagination and enthusiasm! We meet in the Drama Room on the 15th of November from 9am to 2pm! See you there! ART camp with BETTY WHITE Cost: $70 per day (price includes pizza lunch & materials) For grades 1-8 Maximum: 20 people Location: Art room Many years ago, I imagined I was Mrs. Santa in the art room. All the students were the elves, working away at their various stations, happily creating wonderful gifts for the holiday season. This November camp will be centered around creating gifts for December. Don't ask to see them, parents, because they will be wrapped up and hidden in the children's rooms, for the December holiday season. Some of the projects will include a miniature diorama, candles, books, potpourri sachets, etc. Children, come to camp with a twinkle in your eye and a lot of energy. In order to secure placement for your child, please return the registration form portion of this flyer to the school office by Monday, November 8th. Applications are accepted on a first-come, firstserved basis. We will continue to enroll students as long as space is available. We reserve the right to alter or cancel any programs. If an applicant withdraws from a program, please notify the Montcrest School Annex at least 3 days prior to the start of the program. A registration fee may apply and/or credit will be applied to the applicant’s account.
