For Immediate Release November 1, 2010 Children in Need have Celebrity Support Jane Seymour attending “Escape to España!” event on November 4th for The Darling Home for Kids Toronto, Ontario – Jane Seymour is a celebrated and accomplished actress, artist, author and humanitarian who is also passionate about fundraising to help children in need. As such, with the generous support of Art Trax Gallery, Jane will be a special guest at an upcoming charity event “Escape to España!” “Escape to España!” is the theme for The Darling Home for Kids 2010 holiday event (previously known as the Comfort & Joy Gala) which is one of Toronto’s premier events. This year’s chic fundraiser promises to deliver a Spanish flare as guests escape and explore the diversity of Spain’s culture and cuisine. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Darling Home for Kids, a charity located in Milton that provides support to medically complex children. “Escape to España!” takes place on Thursday, November 4th, at Liberty Grand, Exhibition Place, Toronto. The Darling Home for Kids provides care and support to families who have children who are medically fragile and/or technology dependent. The Home services children from infancy to age 18 across Ontario; supporting a child from their initial diagnosis and respite services, through to palliative and end-of-life care, when needed. In addition to their core services, the Home also offers a day program and a number of therapeutic programs which help the children optimize their well-being such as recreation and multi-sensory therapy to name a few, as well as a music therapy program to which all proceeds from the “Escape to España!” jewellery raffle ticket sales will be allocated.
