To my awesome upline, ENVP Cecilia Stoll: Thank you for your wisdom
and guidance, and for keeping your lovely bed and breakfast open for
me when I am in Edmond. Thank you for leading with integrity and
humility. You are my role model and great friend, and I love you.
To ENVP Linda Parker: I am so blessed to be your crossline and your
friend. Thank you for your generosity, for sharing your ideas with me and
for cheering me on as our team became a Nation. I am truly grateful.
To my sponsor, Jonelle Scorsone, and her sponsor, ERVP Debbie
Fleener: Thank you for training and supporting me as I began my
Arbonne journey. We have had so many good times together and I look
forward to many more.
and I thank you. You give me courage and the heart to face whatever
comes my way. You just do not know how much I love you.
To President Rita Davenport: You told me 16 months ago that if I could be
an Area Manager, I could be an NVP. You were right, Rita! To Chairman
& CEO Bob Henry, the Arbonne Executive Team and VP Support: Thank
you for making our jobs so much easier by always making Arbonne better!
Most of all, I want to thank God Who has given me the desires of my
heart, and without Whom I never could have accomplished anything.
It has been said that most people who fail in their dreams do not fail from
a lack of ability, but from lack of commitment. Pursue your dream with
100 percent commitment and you will not fail. Be strong, be courageous
and do it!

Many thanks to my family! To my husband, Leo: You saw the possibilities with Arbonne even before I did, often chanting, “Consumable product, consumable product,” until I saw the brilliance in that. Thank you for
encouraging me. To our beautiful daughters, Holly, Sara, Megan and
Julie: You have all been right there every step of the way saying, “I know
you can do it, mom.” You know what we have been striving to teach you
and show you: All things are possible for those who believe. I love you
so much!
To my parents, Jim and Jane Gladden: You have always made me

COMMIT TO
YOUR DREAM
ENVP
janet flores
Independent Consultant, Executive National Vice President
Janet Flores Nation; Spring, TX
The Flores family.
Can you imagine having a career you truly enjoy with the potential for unlimited income, a flexible schedule, supportive, encouraging business partners
who happen to be your friends and the added bonus of helping you become
a better, stronger person?
you cannot do. Do not listen to these dreamstealers! Surround yourself
with positive people and only listen to people who tell you what you can
do. Fortunately, Arbonne is filled with people who will encourage you,
support and cheer you on. You really can do this business if your Why
is big enough.
Allow yourself to dream. If you can conceive of your dream in your mind, then
believe it in your heart; you are on your way to making your dream a reality!
My dream was to be home with my children and still have choices. I wanted
my husband to have choices, too. For years, we had been a dual-income family with few financial worries, but we were living a hectic life with very little time
for relaxing and enjoying each other and our children. When we made the
decision to slow things down a bit, I quit my job as a senior business analyst
with a Fortune 500 company to be home full time with our girls, and I loved it.
My Why was huge, so I made a total commitment to work as hard as I
could and see if I could make it to RVP in two years. That was only 20
months ago. It took 10 months to become a Region. Two months later
we were in qualification for Nation.
That is when I really began to learn so much more about this business
and myself. I learned things do not always happen according to my
timetable. As a matter of fact, they rarely do. Because of another corporate downsizing, my husband changed jobs last year. Our family
moved to Houston, Texas, in the same month I promoted to RVP. When
you are in a new city, the opportunities are amazing, but in a way you
are starting all over. It took a while to build up my personal business
again. During that time, I learned once again how much fun Arbonne
is! I could relate so well to brand new Consultants who were building
their businesses, because that is what I was doing: Rebuilding my
District, Area, Region and then, at last, becoming a Nation!
Then, as so often happens, life threw us a few curve balls. Three times that year
my husband, Leo, was laid off. The last time I was pregnant with our fourth
daughter. Talk about stress! At that point, we had very few choices. We had to
relocate our family, and for a couple of years, we really struggled, living paycheck to paycheck. In the back of my mind, I was hoping there would be some
way we could climb out of debt and be financially free, without having to go
back to the frenzied lifestyle we had known before. Honestly, though, I could
not see how that was going to happen.
I tried substitute teaching and another home-based business for a couple of
years in an effort to help out financially and still be home with our daughters.
Neither of those options made a significant change in our financial situation
and I thought the only way out was going back to corporate America and a
50-hour workweek. The very thought made me feel absolutely hopeless.
Finding Arbonne about two years ago was really the answer I had been looking for, although I did not recognize it immediately. I loved Arbonne’s products, but I am an accountant, not a salesperson! I was not so sure I could be
successful with a network marketing business, having already tried another
direct sales company. Then as I began to research Arbonne, one thing that
impressed me so much was that the products are consumable and used on a
daily basis. I know that repeat orders equal the potential for residual income.
Another thing that really built my belief was living in Edmond, Oklahoma,
where there is a high concentration of Consultants. So, I saw success all around
me. Only the most hardcore pessimist could be surrounded with so much success and still not believe!
I was so blessed to be in ENVP Cecilia Stoll’s Nation and learn from one of the
best. One of the first lessons I learned from her is a lesson that you must learn
as well. If you want to achieve a dream, you must possess mental strength. For
some reason, there are a lot of people in this world who want to tell you what

I was in qualification for Nation for nine months and the last time it took
me that long to accomplish something, I had a baby! Both experiences
were worth the wait. Although I was eager to reach that last goal, I knew
my journey was designed especially for me, and I found contentment in
that truth.
Janet’s Why: Daughters, Megan, Sara, Holly and Julie.
I learned to embrace challenges and choose an attitude of optimism, joy
and thankfulness for all I had been blessed with, particularly the women
and men on my team. What a privilege it is to be your leader! I learned
that while belief and attitude are so important, it also takes action to realize a dream. The more action you take, the more results you see, and
the sooner you meet your goals. Commit to being in consistent activity,

whether the results come right away or much later. The thing to remember is this: The results will come!
Becoming a Nation was not at all about me. It was all about my
amazing team.
To the VPs from my central Nation, ERVP Shelly Gitthens, ERVP Lisa
Greene and RVP Tara Foerster: You all must know I love you and you
will soon be NVPs! Shelly, you were my first Ace and I am so grateful
for the friendship we share. There is nobody who makes me laugh like
you do. Lisa, you are one of the most positive people I know. In your
own words, “You are so totally going to make Nation,” and it will not
be long! Tara, I am so glad you have the tenacity and courage to press
on even when things do not quite work out the way we hope. I thank you
all for always encouraging and inspiring me to believe everything is possible. I am here to do the same for you.
To ENVP Kristi Sivigliano and NVP Jessica Thionnet: Wow, you guys
absolutely floor me! Congratulations on your success and thank you so
much for seeing the vision and sharing it with so many. To all of the
RVPs, Managers and Consultants in your Nations: Thank you for all you
do. I am honored to call you my friends.
To the AMs in my central Nation, Abbi Zeliff, Rouye Choquette, Kim
Montgomery, Stephanie Chase, Deloris Jester, Joe Gitthens, Vicky
Robinson, Machel Harwell, Beverly Quick, Tammy Horne, Sheila Tate,
Colleen Deeb, Faye Haynie and Christie Duffy: You are just one step
