President Louise H. Feroe
Liza Minnelli began performing at the age of three and hasn’t stopped since.
She has won virtually every entertainment award possible. Born on March
12, 1946, in Los Angeles, California to the actress-singer Judy Garland and
film director Vincente Minnelli, she began her own career in 1949 costarring with her mother in the movie “In the Good Old Summertime.”

She landed the lead role at 19 in Broadway’s “Flora, the
Red Menace” for which she won a Tony. Liza later
starred in several films including “The Sterile Cuckoo.”
She played Sally Bowles in “Cabaret,” which won eight
Oscars including Best Actress for Liza who also earned a
Golden Globe and a British Film Academy Award for
the role. Her televised concert “Liza with a ‘Z” earned
her an Emmy. She appeared opposite Robert DeNiro in
Scorsese’s “New York, New York” in 1977. Liza co-starred with Dudley
Moore in the movie “Arthur” in 1981 and seven years later in its sequel.
She received her second Golden Globe for her role in the made-for-TV movie
“A Time to Live” and in 1989, she produced an album with Britain’s Pet
Shop Boys. Liza took over for Julie Andrews in “Victor/Victoria” in 1977
and two years later returned to Broadway to pay tribute to her father in
“Minnelli on Minnelli.” Liza was more recently seen as the hilarious Lucille
on TV’s “Arrested Development” and as a wacky sex therapist in the film
“The OH in Ohio.” Liza also received rave reviews for her guest
performance on TV’s “Law and Order--Criminal Intent.”
Liza continues her celebrated music and film career with upcoming concert
tours and screen projects. She continues to participate in charities for such
causes as AIDS research and children’s programs.
