Washington Park Event Transportation Options Getting to Washington Park - Nov 26, 2014 through Jan 4, 2015 DRIVE P Avoid parking hassles and use MAX Lightrail to Washington Park. Sunset Transit Center off Hwy 26 and Oregon 217 offers ample parking after 4pm and on weekends. Other nearby stations include Goose Hollow and Providence Park. The Oregon Zoo, Children’s Museum and World Forestry Center are steps from the Washington Park MAX Station. www.trimet.org to plan your trip! Expect heavy traffic and parking congestion on weekends and the last two weeks in December, when school is out. Consider using MAX Lightrail whenever possible. If you do drive, look for signs advising where open parking is available. Parking Options Lots A, B and C are located off Highway 26 Exit 72. Follow signs for Oregon Zoo. Receive $1.50 off Zoo admission by showing your MAX ticket at the Zoo! Rose Garden shuttle lot is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm to 10pm during ZooLights. Shuttle pick up is at the bus zone adjacent to the Rose Garden. Overflow Lot is open on select days after 5pm. Look for signs on Highway 26 and go directly to the Overflow Location for quickest parking.
