“What technology works best depends on where you are.
The Netherlands has wind and wind turbines. I’m from
the desert, where there’s a lot of sun. For my internship
at a Mexican company, I’m developing a portable, solarpowered milking machine for cows. Ultimately, I want to
have my own business specializing in renewable energy,
and I’m sure that studying at a university as demanding
as TU/e will help me achieve this goal. I enjoy living in
the Netherlands. The Dutch are very friendly and I don’t
feel out of place as an international student. I also think
the education here is great – world-class quality at an
affordable tuition fee.”
Structure of education
The Eindhoven University of Technology offers undergraduate programs
at the Bachelor College and graduate programs at the Graduate
School. All undergraduate programs award the Bachelor of Science
(BSc) degree upon graduation. Graduate programs confer the Master
of Science (MSc), Professional Doctorate in Engineering (PDEng), and
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees.
Among other requirements, starting a master’s degree program
requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Entry requirements for
the PDEng and PhD programs include a master’s degree in a relevant
field.
