Church Wide News Lascassas Baptist Church extends our deepest sympathy to Kay Hendrix and JJ Felter in the loss of their mother, Jane Felter. Old Fashioned Christmas Family Sing will be Sunday, December 7th at 6 pm. Special guests Wanda Vick and Jeff Taylor will join us for an evening of worship and praise. This evening we will have our service in the Fellowship Hall. The KidzChoir will be meeting in the sanctuary. Women’s Ministry There will a Special Called Business Meeting on Wednesday, December 10, 6:15pm. The sole item to be discussed will be a recommendation from the Administrative Committee to contract with ReThink Ministries for the performance of a Space Utilization Study of our facilities and land. Front Porch Devotions will be Monday, December 8th at 6 pm at the Gondolier Restaurant. Lascassas Baptist Preschool We collected canned food and non-perishable items to donate to the Lascassas Food Bank. We collected over 220 food items. Thanks to all the parents who gave so generously to this ministry. Poinsettia Orders: It is almost that time of year again to purchase Poinsettias to decorate our sanctuary for Christmas. You can purchase them in honor of, or in memory of someone and they will be listed in your bulletin. All order forms need to be completed and returned to the Welcome Desk by Monday, December 9th. Order forms are on the Welcome Desk for your convenience. They will be delivered the 2nd week in December. All proceeds from the poinsettia orders will go to the weekday preschool ministry. Concord Baptist Associational Senior Meeting will be here at the church on Monday, December 15th at 11 am. There will be a short gathering in the sanctuary followed by a luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. The meal will be provided by the church but we are asking members to bring pies for dessert and volunteers to help with the meal.
