NOTES ON THE GRADES AND OTHER MESSAGES
Please read carefully
1. The grades are relatively high (As according to one UP prof, my friend Atoy Navarro:
Kapag ipinagdamot ko yan, yayaman ba ako?). Seriously, I do hope you take it as a
sign that you did a good job. Your individual grades are greatly affected by the test
results since most of you got a high grade in participation because of the incentives.
I didn’t expect some people to get some of their grades yet I have to be true to the
record.
2. Mind your own grade.
3. I graded the group reports and magazines in comparison from other group works.
4. For those groups who haven’t submitted their soft copies of magazines, powerpoints
and photos you have until 19 December 2014, Friday, 11:30 PM to submit them to
[email protected].
5. Aside from your answers in the exams, as you know, an ADDITIONAL +10 was given
to ALL your exam grades as a GIFT for all of you.
6. For your participation grade which is automatically 80 as you enter class, considered
were your attendance, the number of times you recited (naka-tara), and your
attitude in class. Points were also added +10 to group leaders and +2 or so for each
make-up class and incentives event you went to (Please refer to your final exams).
7. I tried my very best to give the grades based on the EFFORT and RESPECT that you
have shown me. Again, if I have the choice, I’ll do away with grades. I don’t believe
it really measures the totality of how a student learned (High grades are useless if
the person lacks respect and other good qualities). But I still believe it’s a fair
measure of one’s effort inside the classroom.
8. Being my philosophy that the teacher is the ”God” of the classroom (Thanks Dr. FG
David and Dr. Denis Ngo), The grades are non-negotiable. If you
negotiate, you do so at your own risk). Only corrections are welcome
(The burden of proof is on you. Please have valid reasons aside from wanting to be
DL, it’s not a valid reason and it underestimates my capability in computing your
grades, and no extra projects whatsoever). Please never try to intimidate or
blackmail God to make your grade higher or He shall report you to the D.O.,
nakakawalang dangal sa estudyante. ALTHOUGH YOU HAVE TO CHECK YOUR
GRADE BECAUSE THE GOD MIGHT HAVE COMMITTED A CLERICAL ERROR. CHECK
IT ALSO AGAINST YOUR OFFICIAL MYLASALLE GRADE. Text your group leader to
text me before before 10:00 PM, Monday, 15 DECEMBER 2014 (NO-EMAILS) for
clarification.

texted me already if you have problems by Monday).
