These EOC administrations have specific technical and logistical requirements that necessitate they be given in isolation on Monday and Tuesday. Please see the second point of emphasis for additional information. On Monday, January 12 and Tuesday, January 13, the exam period will end around 10:40 am. Testing students who return signed parent permission forms allowing them to leave campus may leave campus at 10:40 am. Students who do not return signed parent permission forms must remain on campus in designated areas until the buses leave at 2:18 pm. For students remaining on campus, lunch will be served, but students must remain in the cafeteria. Additionally, students will not be permitted to call home to check out nor will the school office accept calls providing permission for students to check out. The parent permission form must be returned to Ms. Gaudet or the main office no later than the morning of the student’s EOC exam in order for the student to leave at 10:40 am. Students who leave campus without appropriate documentation will be subject to consequences aligned with the school’s disciplinary guidelines. Students arriving late to school will not be allowed to test; they will need to attend a make-up session on January 16. Seniors cannot be exempt from a state exam: CTE, NCFE, EOC. Seniors can only be exempt from a teacher-made exam. Seniors will be exempt from non-State exams under the following parameters: 3 or fewer excused absences with an A average, 2 or fewer excused absences with a B average, 1 or fewer excused absences with a C average. Students are NOT required to attend English II and Biology/Math IB EOC classes on Wednesday (1/14) and Thursday (1/15) as they will have already taken their final for those courses. Students who need to make-up an EOC exam should report to campus on Friday, January 16. Friday, January 16 is the only make-up day for exams. Only students who miss an exam must report to campus this day to make-up any missed exams. Transportation is not provided on Friday, January 16. On Wednesday, January 14 and Thursday, January 15, students must remain in their classrooms for the duration of the exam block. In order to maintain the integrity of all assessments and provide optimum opportunity for all student success, students will not be permitted to check out early during exam blocks. Please schedule appointments, etc. accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience.
