Do you love food? Would you like a creative, hands-on career
working as a chef in kitchens in New Zealand or throughout
the world?
New Zealand needs trained chefs, food service and preparation
managers and kitchen staff. Now is the perfect time for you to
study for a Professional Cookery and Culinary Arts qualification
at Bay of Plenty Polytechnic.
In this two year programme, students will learn to prepare,
cook and present a wide range of hot and cold dishes to an
advanced level, in our purpose built kitchens, and will learn
to work under pressure creating meals for our on-campus
Atrium restaurant.
Field trips, guest chefs, and visits to catering businesses and
food shows provide plenty of opportunities to learn. Students
are encouraged to compete in industry competitions – our
impressive history of hospitality award winners proves that
Bay of Plenty Polytechnic knows how to develop great chefs!
Study in Tauranga, in the beautiful
