Chateau
Chateau is a super-soft baby
alpaca/bamboo blend with a
chainette construction. It knits up
quickly, which is perfect for lastminute holiday gifts. Any pattern
written for Chateau will knit-up just
as beautifully in its undyed cousin,
Mountaintop Chalet.

24 rnds) = 4½" wide and 3½" tall, with
larger needles, lightly blocked. Take
time to save time, check your gauge.

Eyelet Garter Stitch (even number of sts, 7 rnds).
Rnd 1: Purl.
Rnd 2: Knit.
Rnd 3: Purl.
Rnd 4: *K2tog, yo; rep from * around.
Rnd 5: Purl.
Rnd 6: Knit.
Rnd 7: Purl.
Work rnds 1–7 for Eyelet Garter Stitch.

Cowl
With smaller needle, CO 100 sts, place marker for BOR join to work in the
rnd, being careful to not twist sts.
Work Eyelet Garter Stitch rnds 1-7 once.
Change to larger needle.
Work Textured Lace for 48 rnds (4 reps), then work rnds 1-6 once more.
Change to smaller needle.
Work Eyelet Garter Stitch rnds 1-7 once more.
With larger needle, BO all sts as follows: K1, *k1, slip the 2 sts on RH needle
back to LH needle, k2tog-tbl, rep from * across. Fasten off.
Finishing
Weave in ends.
Block lightly, pulling lace open but being careful to not flatten texture.
