INSTRUCTIONS TO COMPLETE ENTRY FORM
General Notes:
1. This form is to used by one (1) person or partnership for MKA Members only. Non MKA members
wishing to handle a Members dog, will have to apply for the Day Membership at the cost of RM80.
Expelled and suspended members of the MKA are however NOT allowed to enter or handle dogs
in the ring as a Day Member.
2. Dogs of any breed of either sex can enter but must be 6 months of age or older on the day of the
show.
3. Dogs with three or more 1st prizes (except in Open class) won in any Obedience Trials in Malaysia
conducted by the MKA, must enter the next higher class and cannot compete in the lower class.
You also cannot enter the higher classes until you have passed the lower classes at MKA
conducted or sanctioned Obedience Trials and then become eligible to enter the higher classes.
4. It is the responsibility of the owner to enter their dogs in the correct classes that they are eligible
for. The MKA will not be held liable and any dogs found to be in the wrong class can be prevented
for competing in the wrong class. PLEASE CHECK THE ELIGIBILITY OF YOUR DOG BEFORE
SUBMITTING YOUR ENTRY FORM!
5. Owing to the shortage of Stewards, the Committee has given permission for Stewards, except the
Chief Calling Steward, to compete with their dogs before starting their duties
6. The Exhibitor must countersign all alterations and corrections on the Entry Form.
7. Entry Forms that are incomplete or those with incorrect details or without the appropriate fees
will be rejected.
8. The exhibitors Pass must be collected by the registered participant only.
9. Entry forms, together with the appropriate fees are to be submitted in person or by post to the

General Cleanliness at Shows - Exhibitors are reminded that it is their responsibility to pick up/clean their dogs poo
and pee at ANY show venues. Exhibitors caught breaking these cleanliness rules will be given an automatic two
show ban. All dogs owned and co-owned by them at the time of the offence, will also automatically be suspended
from two shows, even if they are transferred to new owners.
Illness - The MKA shall not be liable for any form of illness or disease that dogs may contract at a show. Exhibitors
are required to take every reasonable precaution to prevent the introduction of diseased or sick animals to the
Show. The sale of young puppies at the show venue is strictly prohibited.
Collecting Ring – Only handlers are allowed into the collecting ring.
3 Calls Rule – if exhibits are not presented at the ring for judging, upon 3 calls by the steward of your exhibit
number, your exhibit will be automatically scratched from further participation (even in subsequent classes) unless
allowed by the judge.
All dogs must be on a lead at all times and can only be off lead when competing in the show ring. Exhibitors who
fail to observe this rule will have their awards withdrawn and given an automatic 2 show ban for further events.
The MKA has the absolute right to refuse any entry at their sole discretion.
