Data Privacy Policy

SeedVantage may collect certain information relating to the corporate subscriber, start-up company or technology
transfer office/incubator (each, a “User’) and User’s personnel during User’s use of the Platform and related
websites.
A.
Specifically, SeedVantage may receive or collect: name, email address, physical address, and other such
information as SeedVantage may request or that User may provide from time to time; information that is
aggregated in a non-personally identifiable way for quality assurance purposes and for making improvements
to the Platform and related websites; and information automatically captured on or through the Platform and
related websites, including internet protocol addresses, mobile device identification numbers, browser type,
page access history, linking information, click stream data, page visits, page views, and/or Website log files.
SeedVantage may use cookies, log files, “clear gifs,” tokens, and/or similar devices to identify users to keep
track of interactions with the Platform and related websites (including those of our partners and affiliates), and
to and enhance certain activities available on such Platform and websites. These devices are small text or
other electronic files that are used for user-identification purposes, record-keeping purposes, and to increase
the ease of use of the Platform and websites. SeedVantage may use persistent or not-persistent cookies.
Persistent cookies may be removed or rejected by following the directions provided in an Internet browser’s
“help” file; however, this may impair or make unavailable certain functionality on the Platform or related
websites.
B.
SeedVantage may use the information collected in the following ways: to establish and maintain customer
accounts; to quickly process requests for information; to respond efficiently to questions; to monitor website
statistics; or to allow SeedVantage to disclose such information to the extent permitted by law, in the
situations described more fully below.

SeedVantage cannot guarantee the impenetrability of its servers; however, SeedVantage has established and
implemented reasonable physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard and secure the
personal information it collects online.
D.
SeedVantage may share information collected, including (in some cases) personal information and login
information, in the following situations:

SeedVantage may hire vendors to perform services on its behalf, such as operating or enhancing the
Platform or related websites (and the services offered thereon), and managing and enhancing data.
These companies will only be allowed to obtain personal and login information they need to perform
the specific task they have been hired to do and are prohibited from using the information for any other
purpose. They will agree to keep your information confidential and secure.

If SeedVantage is bought or acquired by another company (either fully or partially), merged with
another company, or experiences a reorganization, bankruptcy, or other similar event, such
information may be shared with SeedVantage’s successor or assignee, subject to the notification
procedures set forth in this policy.
3.
When disclosures are required by law or are meant to help protect the security and safety of the
Platform and related websites, SeedVantage may disclose any information collected, regardless of
time. SeedVantage will make this type of disclosure only as permitted or required by law, or when it
believes in good faith that it is necessary: (i) to protect User’s safety or security, including the safety
and security of User’s property; (ii) to protect the security of the Platform or related websites or third
parties’ websites; and/or (iii) to enforce this Agreement.
