An Evening Out

Learn how to season, smoke, and serve pulled pork, beef brisket, and
ribs with Chris Maynes, co-owner of Whole Hog Cafe - World Champion
BBQ. The class will learn tips and techniques for making true Southern
BBQ at home, including selecting the right firewood, preparing a
charcoal smoker, seasoning the meat, cooking using the "low and slow,"
method, and serving the finished product. Each student will sample
pulled pork, brisket, and ribs during the class. Class is held at Whole Hog

Brew Your Own Bottle: Intro to Beer Making

Learn how to make beer as the class prepares a 10 gallon batch with
Brett Mullin, owner of Brew Your Own Bottle, and home brewing expert.
On the first night the class will prepare the wort and start the
fermentation. Two weeks later the class will bottle the beer. Each
student will go home with about a case of the beer they made. Class is
held at Brew Your Own Bottle, 162 Haddon Ave., Haddon Township and
is limited to 6 participants.

Even in the birthplace of whisky there is no definitive rule for what
Scotch whisky should taste like. Allow five different whiskies to be your
guides through the five main whisky producing regions of Scotland. Cask
choice, cask aging, and malt preferences will be highlighted in an
attempt to discern the major differences between each region. A sample

General Information: Most classes are held at Haddonfield Memorial High School. Some classes are also held at Haddonfield Middle
and Central Schools, Chestnut St. and Lincoln Ave., or Tatem School Gym at 1 Glover Ave. off of Grove St. in Haddonfield.
 We do not confirm or mail receipts. For the first night of every class that is located at HMHS room assignments are posted
outside the main office and classroom directions are available by inquiring within the office.

 School snow number is 560. If Haddonfield schools are closed to teachers & students, the Adult School is closed as well.
 High school students are welcome in adult school classes.

Tuition Information: Course fee must be paid at registration.
 Senior Citizen discount is $3.00 each course.
 There is an additional $3.00 charge per registration form for non-residents of the Borough of Haddonfield.
 Refunds require 48 hour notice, and will have a $7 registration fee deducted. No refunds after first class.
 If a course is cancelled you will be notified, and the entire fee will be refunded.

 Drop off: Forms available at the Library and the HMHS Office, and dropped off at the high school during normal business hours.
 Online: Go to the “Registration Info” tab at www.haddonfieldadultschool.org to submit registration; and pay with a credit card.
