Patricia E. “Pat” Baker, passed from
this world peacefully at home Monday,
December 15, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents; William and Nedella Butler; her
soul mate and husband Raymond
Baker; and two brothers.
She enjoyed traveling with Ray,
spending time with friends and family
and hosting their Fourth of July parties.
She
also

Brookdale
Presbyterian Church.
She left behind a son and daughter;

1928 - 2014 | Age 86
Clayton Ralph Barton, age 86, was
RECORD
born April 2, 1928 in DeKalb County,
MO. the son of Ralph and Edith
(Armagost) Barton and passed away
November 21, 2014 in Gainesville,
MO.
“C.R.” attended Maysville High
School and enlisted in the United States
Navy in 1946. He then received his
commercial pilots license and joined
the Air Force Reserves. He spent 13
months in Korea and was discharged in
1952. In 1963 “C.R.” joined the Army
National Guard and was discharged
April 2, 1988 at the age of 60 after 31
years of service. “C.R.” is preceded in
death by his parents; sister, Lois Steiner
Hutchcraft; and brother, Russell
Barton.
Survivors include his wife Lillian,
Gainesville, MO; adopted son, Forrest
Barton, Newport, WA; two brothers,
Robert Barton (Idella), Maysville and
Dean Barton (Betty); several nieces
and nephews, and a host of friends.

Keith "Big Dad" O. Byrd 56, of St.
Joseph, passed away Saturday,
December 13, 2014 at his home surrounded by family and friends.
He was born April 2, 1958 in St.
Joseph. He graduated from Lafayette
High School class of 1976. He worked
at triumph Foods as a Main Break
Butcher, prior to that he worked at St.
Joe Concrete for 12 years. He enjoyed
fishing, football. Keith was a Christian.
Keith was preceded in death by father,
John, a grandchild, Justice Franklin,
and a brother, Dexter Byrd.
Survivors include, wife, Jackie
Coulter-Byrd of the home, mother,
Mary Byrd of St. Joseph, daughter,
tammy (Henry) Puckett, son, Shawn
(Jessica) Coulter all of St. Joseph, and
a daughter, trisha Coulter of
Washington; 8 grandchildren: Bishop
Franklin, Rebecca Cain, Sheldon
Coulter, Shelby Cline, Shayla Coulter,
Jacob Coulter, Jaylyn Coulter, and
Destiny Hill; 3 great grandchildren,
three brothers, Rufus Byrd, Fred
(Evelyn) Byrd and Bruce ( Krissy)
Byrd all of St. Joseph, three sisters,

Donna Jean Campbell 53, of Saint
Joseph, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at her home.
She was born September 17, 1961 in
St. Joseph, daughter of Joyce and Gary
Nichols. She graduated from North
Andrew High School.
She worked at Laverna Village, Shady
Lawn as a CNA. She had also worked
at the Andrew County Sheriff department. She enjoyed crochett, watching
soap operas, and loved Facebook.
Donna was preceded in death by her
parents, and a brother, Phillip Nichols.
Survivors include, husband, Jimmie
Campbell, Sr. of Saint Joseph, four
daughters, Jamie Campbell, Ryan
(John) Salisbury, Megan Campbell and
Misty Campbell all of Saint Joseph,
three sons, Robert Nichols (Krystal
Cogdill), Gary Campbell, and Jimmie
(Betty) Campbell Jr.; 11 grandchildren;
one great grandchild.

Robert E. Cebulko, 66, St. Joseph,
died Friday, December 19, 2014 at
Mosaic Life Care.
He was born November 22, 1948 to
Edward and Olga (Volk) Cebulko in
Canton, Ohio.
Robert married Diane Bender on June
13, 1970. She preceded him in death on
December 5, 1993.
He was a member of Our Lady of
Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Robert was also preceded in death by
his son, Craig Cebulko; and father.

Charles B. Davis, 84, of St. Joseph,
passed away tuesday, December 16,
2014 at a local hospital.
Charlie was born October 9, 1930 to
William and Maude (Hurd) Davis in

White Cloud, KS. Charlie was raised in
the Highland, KS. and Kingsport, tN.
areas, graduating from Highland High
School.
Out of high school he joined the U.S.
Naval Reserves. He later moved to St.
Joseph where he resided most of his
life. On January 21, 1961 he married
Kay Christian in Gate City, VA. Charlie
spent 44 years working for yellow
Freight, retiring in 1994, earning his 30
year accident free recognition. He was
a 32nd degree Mason and was a member of King Hill Lodge #376 A.F. &
A.M. His hobbies included watching
sports and playing cards.
Preceding him in death are his parents; one son, Mike Davis; three siblings, John D. Davis, Helen Miller and
Hazel Coughlin.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years,
Kay Davis of the home; five children,
Kathy (Bill) Ratliffe, of Dallas, tX,
Brenda (Bryan) Campbell, Linda
(Jarrod) Mickler, Dara (Butch) Alsbury
and John D. Davis, all of St. Joseph;
sister, Jean (Wayne) Meyers, of
topeka, KS; numerous grandchildren,
great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews.

Cemetery in Highland, KS. Care provided by Clark-Sampson Funeral

1947 - 2014 | Age 67
Lloyd B. Dotson, 67, passed away
Sunday, December 14, 2014 at his
home in Savannah, MO.
He was born April 26, 1947 to Edward
and Betty (Wilson) Dotson in
Whitesville, MO.
As a young man, he moved to
Houston, tX. and worked in construction for several years. Moving back to
Missouri, he worked for Iowa Beef
Packers in Rock Port, MO. for several
years and then he moved to Savannah,
MO. and started working for Carnation
Pet Food which later became Friskies
Pet Food retiring after 32 years of service.
Mr. Dotson was preceded in death by
his parents, and a nephew Jay Dotson.
He is survived by a brother; Allan
(Beth) Dotson, St. Joseph, nephew;
Steve and niece Ali Jo Dotson (R.C.
Ziolkowski) both of St. Joseph and
niece, Brook (Jim) Lanham, Colorado
Springs, CO, several great nieces &
nephews including Barney Gage
Dotson and Jaycee Ziolkowski and
numerous cousins including Debbie
Edwards, Savannah, Mo.
Services Friday, Dec. 19 at HeatonBowman-Smith Savannah Chapel,

LIBBy FARBER
1922 - 2014 | Age 92
Libby (Polsky) Farber, 92, St. Joseph,
passed away Sunday, December 14,
2014. She was born January 10, 1922,
to Benjamin and Bessie (Galler)
Polsky.
Libby graduated from Central High
School and St. Joseph Junior College.
After WWII, she met a returning veteran, Hymie Farber, who became her
husband on September 22, 1946.
Libby loved to entertain. She loved to
dance, and she and Hymie were excellent dancers. She also loved to play
