It was a perfect day for kayaking and the
kayak launch at Wynne’s Gut made
launching the kayaks easy. Participating
were Marc and Emmalyn Preston, Jim and
Fay Agar, Don and Marjie Stark, and John
Purifoy. Thanks to Andrea Heekin for loaning the use of two of the kayaks.
At the right below, Don and Marjie Stark
finish the assembly of their folding 2 –
person kayak.
BYC will sponsor the Rain Gutter Regatta from Noon until 2
PM. We are expanding this to
include a pond and small boats
to sail. To see a sample of
what this pond and boats may
look like, see the Seaworthy
Small Ships Website at http://
seaworthysmallships.com/ To
do all this, we need some assistance both in setting up the
rain gutters for the regatta and
the pond for the boats. The
children will need help putting
the boats together.
Can you Help?
Please contact Don Stark (724263-4062) if you can assist.
This activity will be a lot of fun
for all.
