Welcome Aboard Eastern North Carolina is noted as a friendly area, and Belhaven is particularly so. It is located along the Intracoastal Waterway along the Pungo River at Pantego Creek. It is a good anchorage, and the town offers all kinds of services for boaters including boat services, engine repair, fuel, launch ramp, hauling and transient dockage. Belhaven’s stores provide all that visitors need: supplies, gifts, hardware, grocery, restaurants, laundromat, wine and books. It also offers excellent health services. The Vidant Pungo Hospital is right at the waterfront. Come, drop a hook, and stay awhile.
