Also, the above-mentioned are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged property. SCHEDULE: Warm-ups begin at 9:30 am Officials meeting at 10:15 am Coaches meeting at 10:30 am Meet starts at 10:45 am FACILITY: Lander Swim Pool 450 South 9th Street Lander, WY 82520 POOL: Indoor 25-yard, 6 lane pool with non-turbulent lane markers and backstroke flags. Colorado Timing System including automatic timer with horn start, touch pads and electronic scoreboard display for all 6 lanes. Two back-up timers per lane. Water depth measured at the start end is 5’1” deep at both 1 and 5 meters from the wall. Water depth measured at the turn end is 3’8” and 4’3” at 1 meter and 5 meters from the wall respectively. The competition course has not been certified in accordance with 104.2.C (4). RULES: Current (2015) USA Swimming rules will govern the meet. All coaches, officials, and meet officials must have their USA swim cards on their person and in plain view while on deck. STARTS: We will be using fly over starts. ELIGIBILITY: All contestants MUST be currently registered with USA Swimming and Wyoming Swimming, INC. There will be no on deck registration. A registered coach or club representative must sign the USA Registration Compliance form or entries will not be accepted. Clubs will be fined $100 for any swimmer not meeting the current 2013 registration requirement. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. AGE GROUPS: Age as of January 3, 2015 shall determine the swimmers age group for the meet. Individual events will be scored into the following age groups: 8-under (not a recognized USA age group), 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-over. ENTRIES: ENTRIES ARE LIMITED TO THE FIRST 100 SWIMMERS TO REGISTER. Swimmers will be registered on a first come first served basis. Teams will not be split. E-mail entries are preferred via the attachment of the entry information in the Hytek format. Receipt of emails will be verified. Entries should be submitted in yard times. Please follow-up all e-mail entries with a hard copy. In lieu of using email or disk, entries may be submitted on a Master Sheet. Master sheets must include the first and last name of the swimmer, his or her age at the time of the meet, and the swimmer’s USA number. The meet will be pre-seeded and pre-heated as Timed Finals based on entry times submitted in yards. There will be no on deck entries. "The meet referee in concurrence with the meet director may combine events in accordance with Section 102.7.2 of the USA Swimming Rules and Regulations." Entries MUST be received by Monday December 29, 2014. Late entries will not be accepted. ENTRY FEES: There is a set registration fee of $27 per swimmer. This includes the $5 WSI fee and a $2 facility fee. There will be no refunds of entry fees. There will be no charge for relays. PHOTOGRAPHY: No flash photography shall be permitted in the pool area during competition. CELL PHONE/AUDIO OR VISUAL RECORDING DEVICES: Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms, locker rooms or behind the blocks. DECK CHANGE RULE: Changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is prohibited. AWARDS: Medals will be given to the top 12 finishers in individual events. There will be no medals for relays. WARM-UPS: Wyoming Swimming warm-up procedures will be followed. Teams will be assigned lanes and times for warm-up. These will be posted in the meet program. The first portion of each warm-up period will be circle swimming only, feet first entry. The last 5 minutes of each period shall be for racing starts and one-way swimming only. A coach MUST supervise all swimmers during the warm-up. There will be a safety officer on deck. TIMERS: Individual Teams will be assigned lanes for timing. Thank you for your help. SCRATCHES: Scratches should be reported at the coaches meeting prior to the start of the meet. RESULTS: Results will be given to a team representative at the meet closure or emailed with 5 days after the meet. OFFICIALS COMPENSATION: Officials who work the Happy New Year’s Meet will receive $25. The stipend will be received after the meet if the payment voucher is complete and the form has been submitted to Norma Dufek. Payment will be sent within 5 days after the meet.
