Welcome
Spring is a time of change for everyone and, here at the theatres, we know that change
is coming. Whilst we do not know what the longer term future holds, we do know what
is happening in the next three months and that is very much business as usual: we are
delighted that Enjoy Sutton has enabled us to put on a wide range of artistic workshops
in half term and, as befits a theatre named after Harry Secombe, we have a comic theme
to the activities in February.
We also have a wide range of performances, welcoming some of our talented
performers from the borough as well as providing the opportunity to hear professional
musicians performing as Elton John, songs from the Supersonic 70s and a lovely
review of the musicals in Some Enchanted Evening.
I do hope that you will come and enjoy the performances taking place in your local area.

In a place that was once called Earth globalisation
is complete. Everywhere, the kids watch the same
movies, wear the same fashions and think the same
thoughts. It’s a safe, happy, Ga Ga world, unless
you’re a rebel and want to rock. But resistance is
growing. Underneath the gleaming town, down in the
lower depths live the Bohemians, rebels who believe
there was once a Golden Age when kids formed their
own bands and wrote songs. They call that time, The
Rhapsody. Somewhere, the mighty axe of a Guitar
God lies buried in rock. The Bohemians need a hero to
find this axe. Is Galileo that man?
