Tryouts are a complicated process and we want you to be aware of the stages of the tryout process. !

TRYOUT STAGES
Pre-Registration
- Athletes Pre-Register on our website to allow us to provide
adequate staffing for tryouts and to make registration faster on site
- Athletes that pre-register save $20 off the tryout fee
On Site Registration
- Athletes that did not Pre-Register must fill out paperwork and pay
tryout fee on-site. Everyone should arrive at least 30 minutes early
to check in and receive tryout t-shirt and tryout number.
Evaluation
- Athletes will be guided through the tryout and evaluated thoroughly
by Legacy coaches. We always have adequate staff to run the drills
as well as coaches responsible for evaluating.
Team Forming
- Coaches and Club Directors meet after tryouts to select teams
Communication
- Emails will be sent out to athletes with their placement within 1
week after ALL Early tryouts are completed
- Athletes have 48 hours to respond to the offer with an Acceptance
or Denial. - We have all tentative details available before our tryout to allow for
decision making !process to be efficient.

1st club in Michigan to:

• Qualify 3 teams in one year at the OPEN level
• Win a Open National Qualifier (TWICE!) • 16-1 wins 16 Open MEQ & BIG SOUTH National Qualifiers
• 17-1 places 3rd 17 Open MEQ & BIG SOUTH National Qualifiers
• 14-1 places top 5 14 Open NEQ & BIG SOUTH National Qualifiers
• 14-1 and 17-1 won the North Coast Power Open League
• 16-1 won the Sports Performance 16 Open Presidents Day Tournament
• 17-1 won the Sports Performance 17 Open National Junior Classic
• 14-1 won the Sports Performance 14 Open Youth Classic Tournament
- 12-1 and 14-1 team win 3rd place trophy in Open at AAU Nationals
- 5 Teams in Top 10 of Open at AAU Nationals
- 17-1 finished 6th and 14-1 finished 10th at Junior Nationals in Open
In many cases, our national and select level teams are competing at
the national level and beating other clubs #1 teams!
• 14-2, 16 Blue & 17-2 qualified for the National Division at the Junior National Championships
• 14 West won the 14 Open Lake Michigan Power League • 17-2 team won the North Coast Power League Elite Division
• 15-2 and 16-2 were Runner Ups in the NCPL Elite Division
• Legacy team finished top 5 in each age level of Lake Michigan Power League
• 17 Blue & 16-2 won Central Zone Invitational Club Division
• 16 Blue, 16-2 and 17-2 finished in the Top 10 at National Qualifiers!
National Lite Teams dominated the Lake Erie Power League (this is a great indicator of how Southeast Michigan club level teams
compare against one another)
12-Club - 2nd place out of 11 teams
13-Club - Legacy had 5 of the top 6 teams in a 21 team division, including the 1st place team
14-Club - Legacy had 3 of the top 4 teams in a 23 team division, including the 1st place team
15-Club - Legacy finished 1st and 3rd in a 23 team division
16-Club - Legacy had 3 of the top 4 teams in a 23 team division
17/18-Club - Legacy finished 2nd!
Legacy 14-Greg won the 14 Classic State Championship
Legacy 13-Annie were Runner Ups 13 Classic State Championship
Legacy 16-Kirk finished 9th out of 60 teams at Mid-East Qualifier
Legacy 13-Julie won the Gold Division at the IVA Hoosier Tournament
Legacy 16-Terry won the Gold Division at the IVA Hoosier Tournament
