The 2015 Elkhorn Valley Elders and Leadership
retreat begins with registration, including donuts
and coffee, from 9-10 a.m. on Sat., Feb. 28 at
Elkhorn Valley’s Retreat Center and ends at 3 p.m.
The $40 cost includes all programming, as well
as breakfast and lunch. ALSO! Included is a
bonus copy of the book The Healthy Elder by
Jim Estep, David Roadcup and Gary Johnson!

Dr. James Estep is Dean of the School of Undergraduate
Studies at Lincoln Christian University (Lincoln, Ill.) He
has been in the ministry since 1985, teaching in
colleges and seminaries, as well as in congregations
around the country and at Haus Edelweiss in
Austria. Jim participates in several learned societies,
such as the Stone-Campbell Journal Conference, North
American Professors of Christian Education, and the
Evangelical Theological Society. He has written several
books on Christian education, as well as published
numerous essays and articles. His passion is equipping
individuals for service within local congregations.
Residing in Lincoln, Illinois, Jim and his wife Karen have
three children.
