ONE CABINET, ONE CONNECTION The Energy Power Base system consists of one cabinet, just 4” high, that you can set most flat-panel TV’s (up to 80 lbs. with a base up to 23” w x 12” d) directly on. Now, if your TV sits on a stand, countertop, dresser or any other flat surface the Energy Power Base sits directly under it, providing an unobstructed view of the TV screen and, in many cases, a profile that does not block your TV’s remote control sensor. The included digital optical cable then quickly connects from the back of the Energy Power Base to the TV, providing a cleaner look. The Energy Power Base’s built-in Dolby® Digital decoder provides for a no-hassle setup whether your TV outputs PCM or Dolby Digital sound. BALANCED, FULL-RANGE SOUND A soundbar system should not just be louder than the TV it is connected to, it needs to have a proper sound balance so that dialogue and subtle details are not overpowered by distorted or overblown bass. The Energy Power Base utilizes separate tweeters and midrange drivers for each channel enhanced by dual subwoofers in a bass-reflex cabinet design supported with dual, front-firing ports providing a well-balanced, detailed, full-range sound no matter how it is placed.
