A BIG THANK YOU to K-Mart for donating a 40” flat screen TV to the
Tehachapi Senior Center. It is truly a blessing as we use it for various activities
including the Exercise classes. We are so appreciative. We have many activities and services at the Center. The Center is a 501(c)(3) organization. All the
classes offered are free of charge. All of the instructors/leaders are volunteer
workers. THANK YOU K MART….from the bottom of our hearts for
enhancing the atmosphere!!!

Welcome New Member
President’s Message
Ruby Sewell
2014 was a very good and
productive year.
I pray 2015 will exceed the
achievements we had in 2014.
This will happen if we all focus
on the same goals we set for
2015. We want the center to be
one of the most pleasant places
you can visit in Tehachapi.
This month we will kick off our
fund raiser dinner with meat
loaf, gravy, mixed vegetables
salad, rolls and desert. Our
famous cooks will prepare the
dinner and a special lady will
make the punch. We sold out at
the last meat loaf dinner, so sign
up now.
We still have a walk in cooler
for sale. You can keep up with
us on the web.
www.tehachapiseniorcenter.com
Our next update for the center
will be a computer and printer.

The Senior Center SCOOP needs more sponsors and for as little as $25 ($20 for members), your
business can be promoted each month to over 1,000 readers who look for the Senior Nutrition
program menu, locations for senior discounts at merchants around town and articles of
interest. Call the center or contact one of the board members even if it's just to JOIN your center that serves
all of the Valley with activities and services described on the back page. Without YOUR HELP there can't be a
viable Senior Center - and remember, many activities and the monthly dinners are open to ALL AGES.
